Four units are confirmed hit at the Saratov refinery. They're the pentane-hexane isomerization unit, ELOU-AVT-6, the visbreaking unit and the L-24-6 hydrotreating unit. The catalytic reforming unit may have been hit too, but there's not enough footage to confirm it.

For five years, Clarence Thomas told the government his wife made nothing. She made more than $680,000. You’d be in trouble for that. He kept his lifetime seat. He shouldn't. He needs to be impeached. Agreed?

Utah sent an undercover agent to place about $115 in sports bets on Kalshi. Now the two people who started Kalshi are charged with 13 felonies, and the top charge alone carries up to 15 years in prison. The day after the charges came down, investors gave Kalshi $1 billion. Here's how the sting worked. In September, a special agent with the Utah attorney general's office opened a Kalshi account with a Utah address, a Utah phone number and a Utah debit card. Before his first bet, $10 on the Cowboys against the Giants, the app asked him to confirm his location. He told it he was in Utah, and it took his money. He did that 12 times over 11 days, on games like Utah vs. Utah State and a Real Salt Lake match. Kalshi's cut on each bet was somewhere between 3 and 78 cents. So the company made less than $10 off the bets Utah is now using to go after its CEO and COO personally. And that top charge comes from Utah's racketeering law, the same kind of statute prosecutors use on organized crime. The obvious question is why Kalshi didn't just shut off Utah. It clearly knows how. It already blocks Nevada and Washington because a settlement and a court order made it. DraftKings pulled its sports and politics markets out of Utah the same night the charges were filed, FanDuel did it the next day, and Fanatics shut down everything there on November 4. Kalshi stayed because of how the company is built. DraftKings runs on licenses from gambling regulators in more than 20 states, so when one state comes after you with criminal charges, you get out fast and protect the rest. Kalshi has exactly one license, from a federal agency called the CFTC. Its whole $40 billion valuation depends on the idea that this one federal license overrides state gambling laws, and quietly walking away from Utah would cut against that argument everywhere else. The federal government is backing Kalshi on this, and pretty aggressively. The CFTC and the Justice Department sued Utah two days before the charges. Their complaint says that if Kalshi turned away Utah residents, it would be breaking a federal "impartial access" rule that requires exchanges to serve everyone. So the founders are stuck. Utah wants them to stop taking bets from Utahns or face prison, and the federal government is in court saying they aren't allowed to stop. This goes way past Utah, too. The CFTC has sued 10 states since April. On the other side, 37 states signed a brief backing Utah in its appeal. Sequoia and Wellington, who co-led the $1 billion round, are betting on one legal question, whether federal commodities law beats state gambling law. If the courts say yes, Utah's criminal case could fall apart along with every state lawsuit against Kalshi. A federal judge in Utah already said no back in August. The 10th Circuit is up next, and this looks like it's headed to the Supreme Court. Kind of fitting for a company that lets you bet on almost anything that its biggest investors now have $1 billion riding on how a court case turns out.

The MUSK documentary is now streaming on Amazon Prime and Apple. Elon Musk did his best to keep it from being seen, so it’s no coincidence that it was removed from theaters before the midterms. I just finished watching it, and honestly, I’m glad I didn’t see it before the election because it would’ve scared the fuck out of me. I’m so glad the midterms turned out like they did. This man and others like him need to be held accountable. He is unhinged, a monster, a murderer, a narcissist, and an evil motherfucker with a God complex. Grok can stay on X. I will NEVER download that shit on my phone. The devastation one man has been allowed to cause to our country and our planet over the last two years is staggering, all without any constraints from a megalomaniac president and a cowardly, greed-possessed Congress. This is a MUST-WATCH. We need to stay on top of our elected officials and demand they STRIP HIM of his unchecked power and hold him accountable for the MASSIVE DAMAGE he’s done. And we need guardrails going forward so that NO single person can ever hold unchecked control again. **THIS IS A DIRE WARNING**

150 miles from his home, in a town he’d never even visited – that’s the incorrect address Mississippi’s secretary of state used to flag one voter as inactive.
My campaign and others complained about this for months. This should’ve been a national story. Thank God @MSTODAYnews reported it and we and others were able to try to reach these voters. Local journalism matters!

BREAKING | 🇺🇸🇺🇦‼️‼️ US DEMOCRATS PREPARE A $15 BILLION MILITARY AID PACKAGE FOR UKRAINE AFTER A PROLONGED PAUSE! According to the Financial Times, Democratic lawmakers are working on a major new assistance package aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defenses against Russian attacks. The proposed $15 billion package would include air defense interceptors, ballistic missile interceptors, launchers, and additional supporting equipment. Part of the funding would also be allocated to Ukraine’s energy sector, which remains vulnerable to Russian strikes. The proposal is still being developed and has not yet received congressional approval. The initiative comes at a critical moment for Ukraine’s air defenses, with interceptor shortages placing increasing pressure on its ability to protect cities and essential infrastructure. Congressional approval would provide additional resources for Ukraine’s military and energy security, although the timing and final composition of the package remain uncertain. I held a coordination call on the aftermath of Russia’s attack and recovery efforts after the strikes. In tonight’s attack, Russia used 36 missiles approaching their targets along a ballistic trajectory. Only four missiles were taken down. Unfortunately, there is still a significant shortage of interceptors for Patriot systems, and the United States is in the best position to help address it. At every level, we are looking for ways to speed up deliveries and get the necessary messages across to the American side – so that Ukraine receives the means to protect lives. This is especially important right now – not just ahead of winter, but also ahead of another joint effort with our partners to reinvigorate negotiations. Russia has a very particular view of diplomacy – as a subtype of aggression. By intensifying its attacks on Ukraine and our infrastructure at this very moment, Russia is trying to additionally lay the groundwork for putting pressure on Ukraine’s position and that of its partners. We hope that the United States, like our other partners, will act on principle. Technical assessments are ongoing at the sites hit by ballistic missiles. According to preliminary findings, at one of the key energy facilities that was damaged, the Russians used KN-23 missiles manufactured and supplied by North Korea. This is further proof that global sanctions regimes need to be significantly strengthened – against everyone in the world who provides their “services” in destroying lives. There were detailed briefings on the challenges Kyiv is facing. I instructed Ukraine’s Minister of Internal Affairs Ivan Vyhivskyi, together with all the relevant agencies and the Kyiv City Administration, to prepare backup transport routes and additional transport for Kyiv. At present, such contingency plans are practically nonexistent at the city level. Ukraine’s Prime Minister Sergii Koretskyi delivered detailed briefings on the restoration of energy facilities and the forces involved. The military also briefed me on the use of electronic warfare, and we defined areas for scaling up. There was also a separate briefing from Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha. Meetings in the G7 format are being prepared, and Ukraine will be represented. We are counting on new contributions from European countries to the PURL initiative – there are preliminary commitments. There will also be new energy support packages for Ukraine, as well as new deliveries to support our logistics. Thank you to everyone who is helping! Thank you to each and every person doing effective work for Ukraine and for recovery after Russia’s strikes.
