Let's let it rip!
The $LINK community is ready for the FUDDERS to be silenced by gains 💪
Congratulations to @The_DTCC on the launch of the DTCC Tokenization Service, a significant milestone in the modernization of global financial market infrastructure.
The launch follows DTCC’s first-ever production trades of tokenized U.S. securities in July 2026, powered by Chainlink alongside more than 30 major institutions:
• BlackRock
• J.P. Morgan
• Goldman Sachs
• Vanguard
• NYSE
• Nasdaq
• CME Group
• Microsoft
• State Street Investment Management
• BNP Paribas Securities Corporation
• Societe Generale
• S&P Dow Jones Indices
• Citadel Securities
• FTSE Russell
• Invesco
• Broadridge
• Tradeweb
• + many more
With quadrillions processed annually as critical infrastructure underpinning U.S. securities markets, DTCC is bringing tokenization to the American financial system.
We look forward to continuing our work together in advancing 24/7 collateral workflows through the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) & data standard, accelerating institutional adoption of tokenized assets.
We will all see how $LINK performs.

The core difference here is that is a token vs an equity.
An equity shareholder benefits from revenue growth/cash flows/etc
While crypto buybacks are an attempt to create a share in protocol revenue, what they are really doing is reinforcing the scarcity of the token. For a token to have value, in general it needs utility, scarcity, and enough of a network effect that keeps users on that network/application. In a market full of apps/blockchains/networks with barely any moat and often little to no utility, it’s hard to check all three boxes. Add on token unlocks and the attractive universe gets even smaller.
Reinvesting in the protocol early on makes sense though, if you don’t have a ton of token inflation and check the other boxes, this can provide a way to build a proper moat.
Usually the market reaction to token buybacks through the narrative is much larger than the actual impact it should have. Thats the magic/issue of the crypto market, it’s largely a retail driven momentum market, even if there are some people tracking the fundamentals.

Why would a project that is reorienting the entire financial system commit to a direction prior to clarity?
Doing so and having all of the laws change would force them to have to completely rework everything.
It’s more efficient to do it once and let it run. This is the same principle corporations follow when there is economic uncertainty. They stave off investments till the path is more clear.
US national debt: $40.5T.
Value Chainlink has already enabled: $36.42T 👀
That's ~90% of the entire US debt, enabled by one network.
$LINK market cap today: $8.86B
$100 = $100B
$1,000 = $1T 🚀
This isn't hype. It's math.

🚨 CHAINLINK JUST PUT A $250 TRILLION NUMBER ON IT 🚨
Chainlink just launched CustodySync with @Anchorage (first federally chartered US crypto bank) so institutions can access DeFi lending without assets leaving regulated custody.
The scale numbers from @chainlink:
→ $80B+ in DeFi lending today
→ ~$700B in digital assets under custody
→ $250T in traditional assets under custody
Only 1 billion $LINK will ever exist.
66.46M $LINK is already locked across Staking, US ETFs and the Reserve.
If a sliver of $250T in custody touches Chainlink:
→ $100 × 1B = $100B
→ $1,000 × 1B = $1T
$100 is the warm-up.
$1,000 is the math catching up.
Hey @grok, if even 1% of that $250T in regulated custody connects to DeFi through Chainlink, what does that mean for a 1B max supply $LINK? 👀
Introducing Chainlink CustodySync, a new solution that lets qualified custodians give their institutional clients access to DeFi lending markets, all while assets remain securely in custody.
With @Anchorage as the official launch partner, together we’re establishing a new standard for institutional DeFi.
CustodySync keeps custody and lending systems in sync across the full lifecycle of a loan:
→ For custodians: faster time to market and lower operational overhead, with custodian-managed controls
→ For lending markets: independent, verifiable data and a consistent risk framework
→ For institutions: passive capital becomes productive capital
More than $80 billion sits in DeFi lending markets. Meanwhile, the roughly $700 billion in digital assets under custody is less than 0.5% of all $250 trillion in traditional assets under custody. The opportunity to connect traditional institutional capital to onchain finance remains vast.
Large institutions have lacked a secure way of accessing these markets. Regulations require many of them to keep their digital assets with a qualified custodian, a firm that meets specific requirements for holding assets on behalf of clients, and custody systems were never built for DeFi. Even when custody and lending systems are connected, inconsistent loan valuations can trigger premature liquidation or delayed liquidations, exposing borrowers and lenders to significant financial risk.
@Anchorage, home to the first federally chartered digital asset bank in the U.S., is the first qualified custodian to adopt CustodySync, connecting its institutional clients to DeFi lending markets while their assets remain in regulated custody.
Institutional capital no longer has to choose between the security of custody and the liquidity of DeFi.
With Chainlink, it gets both.
