🌅 Another Sober Sunrise  💯 Obsession or passion? Last night I’d already gone to bed when two different people from the community messaged me about ducks they thought I’d want. So what did I do? I got out of bed, came downstairs, turned the computer back on and did two more trades. 😂 And that’s when I thought… wow, this is becoming a serious obsession of mine. I’m now on 52 @yuckyducks and 30 are the same rootin’ tootin’ cowboy trait. And if I’m being completely honest, part of me now wants all 240 of them. 😂 Which really got me thinking. Do I need that many of the same collection, let alone the same trait within that collection? No, of course not. You could probably say the same about my 22 @LazyLionsNFT 42 Cubs, or the 800+ from another project. And yes, of course I buy in bulk because I’m also looking to make a profit. But if you rarely sell anything, you’re not going to make much profit either. So maybe that’s the point. Collecting has never really been about need. People collect watches, cards, trainers, football shirts, vinyl, cars… whatever makes them happy. And that behaviour can look completely different depending on whether you’re the person doing it or seeing it. But as long as you know your limits, you enjoy what you’re doing, and you’re not putting yourself in a bad financial situation, then does it really matter what anyone else thinks?
