🚨 Sergej Jakirović on his altercation with the referee at full-time after Hull City’s 1–0 defeat to Arsenal: 🎙️ Interviewer: “Sergej, we saw you confronting the referee after the final whistle. What made you so angry? Sergej Jakirović: “Because some decisions today were simply difficult to understand. I’m not asking anyone to give Hull City special treatment, but I’m asking for fairness. We deserve the same respect as every other club in this league. Just because we’re newly promoted doesn’t mean we should keep our mouths shut when decisions go against us. Interviewer: “Do you feel your team was treated differently today? Sergej Jakirović: “I don’t want to make accusations, but people need to look at those decisions again. Imagine if those same incidents happened at the other end. Would the reaction have been the same? That’s the question people should be asking. Interviewer: “Despite the defeat, your team restricted Arsenal to just one goal at the Emirates. Are you proud of that performance? Sergej Jakirović: “Absolutely. Look at the difference in resources, experience and expectations between these clubs. We’re newly promoted, we’re still building, but my players went out there and fought for every ball. Arsenal couldn’t simply walk over us. We conceded once, not five times. My players deserve credit for that. Interviewer: “What did you tell your players after the match? Sergej Jakirović: “I told them to keep their heads up. We didn’t come here to admire Arsenal or collect their shirts. We came here to compete. We may not have their budget or their squad, but we have pride. And nobody is taking that away from us. Interviewer: “Do you have a final message for the officials? Sergej Jakirović: “Apply the rules equally. Don’t judge a newly promoted club differently from a title contender. We can accept defeat, but we will never accept being treated as though our voices don’t matter.

🚨 Okan Buruk reacts to Galatasaray’s incredible 4–3 victory over Amed Sportif: 🎙️ Interviewer: “Okan, what a game! Four goals, seven in total and another massive three points. What was going through your mind? Okan Buruk: These are the games that show you what your team is made of. It wasn’t easy, we had difficult moments, but nobody panicked. We kept fighting, kept believing and found a way to win. That’s the mentality I want at this club. Interviewer: “How important was the team spirit in getting over the line? Okan Buruk: “More important than anything. Talent can win you matches, but togetherness wins you championships. When one player makes a mistake, another has to stand beside him. When someone is tired, another has to run for him. Nobody is bigger than this badge. That’s Galatasaray. Interviewer: “Raphael Leão is still a new face in this team, but he’s already stepping up. How impressed are you? Okan Buruk: “Very impressed. People see the quality, the speed and the dribbling, but what makes me happy is his willingness to fight for the team. He’s adapting, learning his teammates and taking responsibility. We didn’t bring Raphael here just to entertain people. We brought him here to make a difference in important matches. He’s beginning to show exactly why. Interviewer: “Galatasaray are now five points clear at the top. Is this a warning to the teams chasing you? Okan Buruk: “Let them chase. We respect every opponent, but we’re not going to apologise for being at the top. Five points don’t win you the championship, but they show what this group has been building. We want more. Much more. Interviewer: “Some will say conceding three goals despite winning 4–3 is a warning sign. What do you say to those critics? Okan Buruk: “They’re entitled to their opinions. We know we must improve defensively, and we will work on that. But don’t confuse our desire to improve with a lack of confidence. We scored four, showed character and took three points. This team has heart, and that’s not something you can buy. Interviewer: “Is this Galatasaray side becoming a family rather than just a team? Okan Buruk: “Absolutely. And when a family fights together, it becomes very difficult to stop.

How bad is Maresca actually? People really thought he was some tactical genius when individual brilliance was carrying that City team and saving his ass all along😂😭

🚨 Liam Delap after destroying Enzo Marasca’s Manchester City side 3:1. 🗣️Liam Delap: “Honestly, this is one of the happiest nights of my football career because I have waited for a moment like this for a very long time. When I scored those two goals against Manchester City, I didn’t even think twice about my celebration. I wanted them to see it. I wanted Maresca to see it. I wanted every Manchester City supporter in that stadium to see it. Because some people need to be reminded that they were wrong about you. When I was at Manchester City, I was part of their academy, and I always wanted an opportunity to prove myself. But I never felt that the club genuinely believed I could become an important player for them. I had to leave and find somewhere else to prove my quality. Then I arrived at Chelsea. I thought things would be different. I thought I would finally get the opportunity to show people what I could do. But what happened? Maresca never gave me the kind of trust I needed. Every time I wanted to build momentum, I found myself fighting for minutes. You cannot expect a striker to become confident when you keep taking him out of the team. Sometimes I sat on that bench wondering what exactly I needed to do to convince him. Was I supposed to score goals without playing? Was I supposed to prove myself in training forever? I watched other players getting opportunities while I was waiting for mine. And honestly, it hurt. But I promised myself something. One day, I would get an opportunity to face the people who never believed in me, and I would make them remember my name. Tonight was that opportunity. Two goals against Manchester City. In front of their supporters. And Maresca watching. I won’t lie, that celebration was personal. I wanted to enjoy every second of it because nobody knows how much frustration I carried before getting here. To Manchester City, thank you for teaching me that sometimes the club that develops you isn’t the club that believes in you. And to Maresca, I hope you enjoyed watching those two goals. You had a striker who wanted to prove himself, but you never gave him enough opportunities to shine. Tonight, I showed you what you were missing. I don’t need to send anybody a message privately anymore. The scoreboard has already said everything. And if anybody thinks I regret celebrating in front of those supporters, they are completely wrong. I didn’t celebrate to disrespect Manchester City. I celebrated because I finally became the player some people at Manchester City and Chelsea never believed I could become.”

🚨 Martin Ødegaard On Criticism Of Arsenal's Playing Style: 🗣️ “I understand people saying our football is boring, but at the end of the day, winning three points is what matters. “We are not here to entertain everyone; we are here to compete and win trophies. “Every game comes with different challenges, and sometimes you have to find another way to win. “Not every victory will be beautiful, and that's part of football. “We know we can play better, but getting the job done is equally important. “Our priority is winning, not satisfying people who criticise our style. “At the end of the day, three points are three points, and that's what matters most.”
