A node can answer its pings and still be unhealthy, whether the trouble is on the host or in the database.
FluxOS 8.22 is live. Nodes watch their own host and database, and a node in trouble steps aside on its own instead of serving your app on failing hardware.
Single-writer apps hand over whole. App ports are proven over UDP.

FluxOS v8.22.0 is live, released 25 Oct. The part I'm happiest about is that game servers on the Flux Games hub are never CPU-throttled. A match server that slows down mid-round ruins the match, so we treat steady CPU as part of the product. App ports are proven over UDP as well as TCP now, which is what realtime apps want, since game state and voice don't sit well behind TCP retries. The rest is reliability work on database calls and host stalls. Deploying on @RunOnFlux got a little more predictable this month.

Flux runs PostgreSQL and MySQL clusters across thousands of independent operators. This short covers flux-pg-cluster, Flux-Shared-DB and the managed database roadmap.

Static pages dont need accounts. Drop in the @RunOnFlux apps hub: drag an HTML file, a zip or a whole folder and you get a live link without signup or a wallet gate. The web works best when it asks for nothing.

"But it's their real account." Yes, and it can still be a scam. Hijacked accounts push fake airdrops, 'urgent migrations' and security alerts to followers who trust them. The account is real. The post isn't. How to spot one before you act 👇 sspwallet.io/en/academy/secu…

A request for myapp.app.runonflux.io reaches a container on an independent machine in seconds, passing through the registry, the domain manager, health-checked routing, and certificates. The machines are independent nodes across 50+ countries. The new article walks the whole path.

FluxOS v8.21.0 and v8.21.1 are live. The change I care about most is single-writer global apps: one node writes, the rest read, and when the writer changes, the data syncs over before the new one starts, so nothing gets lost at the switch. Two nodes writing the same app at once is how you lose updates without ever seeing an error, and if you run a game server or a database on @RunOnFlux that's the failure that costs you. The node firewall moved into FluxOS itself, so app ports are handled the same way on every node and closed when the app stops. Node operators can change their Flux address without their apps dropping off, and the registry now refuses private addresses. Took longer than it should have, and I'm glad it's shipped.

New article up. On @RunOnFlux nobody schedules your container: you hand the network an app and it works out where to run it. That's still the strangest part of deploying there, so I wrote the whole thing down, image to live app, step by step. medium.com/@kmentat/nobody-s…

Every big cloud wants a contract and a company card before anything runs. This week an AI agent paid USDC on Solana for a deployment and the app came up on @RunOnFlux, no human in the loop. When software pays software, compute can't have a gatekeeper.

Deploys still tend to queue behind whoever holds the console login. Elisym Labs' Flux Gateway hands that job to the agent: it quotes the deployment, the agent pays in USDC on Solana, and the app comes up live on independent nodes in 50+ countries, with the URL going straight back to the agent. Flux also runs its own MCP server covering the same ground, paying in FLUX. On a small team, that means the agent ships while you keep building.

A car just flew. Clouds still fall: one region goes down and thousands of apps go with it.
Flux runs each app on several independent nodes at once, out of nearly 7,000. When one drops, the app keeps running. No single company, no single point of failure.

SaaS is dead. The only thing you need is a server.
@RunOnFlux provides it. Affordable load balanced solution for any application usecase you need. Deploy instantly with Flux mcp. Jsut keypair needed, no sign up. This is ai ready infra at scale. 💪

Zelcore now runs on kaspa-core. It's pure TypeScript, no WASM and no Rust, verified against rusty-kaspa. v8.39 also ships KNS names and is rolling out to all platforms. Your keys still derive on your device. Update when it lands on yours. @kaspaunchained zelcore.io/newsroom

An NFT isn't the picture. It's a record in a contract pointing to content stored elsewhere. The record is yours. Most NFT theft is one signature: setApprovalForAll hands your whole collection to one contract. What you own, and the approval to revoke 👇 sspwallet.io/en/academy/defi…
