I'll make a slight edit. We may better be described as natural PARTNERS of the real attorneys "of the poor," advocates at #LegalAid.

It was 20 years ago today that the burgeoning MLP movement came together for the first-ever MLP conf. I was a 3L @NYULaw on my way to @legalaidCLE & joined by Dr. Cohn, then @metrohealthCLE. So much energy in a room filled w/ #medleg pioneers - we were onto something special.

As #LSCITC winds down, I find myself feeling both connected and lonely. The organizers have done a wonderful job w/ the virtual conference, but gosh I miss running into people in the elevator, going out for dinner, and having late-night conversations in the hotel lobby.
