Crucial session for @CommonsWorkPen inquiry into disability benefit assessments next week as the Minister gives evidence. With DWP now losing or conceding over 80% of appeals against its decisions, we hope she will accept change must go much further than last year's Green Paper

My Westminster Hall debate on Disability Benefits Assessments is at 14:30 this afternoon. The harrowing effects of the DWP’s hostile approach to social security for disabled people are an issue I have raised many times. We need urgent action.

The 26 year old healthy daughter of one of our members, who caught Alpha variant in February and was very ill, was subsequently fully vaccinated, has now caught Delta (confirmed) and is again very ill at home. Please please take precautions not to catch Covid or give it to others

There are some things in life you just don’t do by half. Men aged 20-49 in Suffolk are less likely to get their 2nd jab. Getting one Covid jab means you’re not fully protected. One jab is half a job. Book your vaccination nhs.uk Jab. Test. Protect the rest.

Another terrible story in what has been a powerful series of public service broadcasting. The deregulation of social housing post-2010 has had devastating consequences for the quality of services many tenants get. Time to put them on these orgs' Boards + for Regulator to step up
Nicole has been through hell. Her interview with us - hours after ceiling had collapsed for a second time - is a tough watch, but an important one. Southwark Council declined our request for an interview.
