Congratulations to our students who completed the Basic Studio Workshop yesterday evening. These students learned camera operation, floor directing, lighting and set design. Tonight, some of these students return for the Field Production Workshop at 6:00PM.
Dayton Metro Library patrons can use their library card to sign up for and attend DATV video production workshops, including camera, editing and podcasting. When you complete the classes, you will receive a certificate and can then register to become a member of DATV.

Dayton Access Television is proud to be providing video services to the 75th Annual Dayton NAACP Hall of Freedom Awards this Friday evening at the Dayton Convention Center. This event will be recorded for telecast on DATV on Spectrum Cable and worldwide our Roku app.

Congratulations to the students who attended our Basic Studio Workshop yesterday evening led by our fearless production staff person Denise Davis! Students learned Camera operations, lighting, floor directing, studio and prop storage care and more.
Another typical Wednesday evening at DATV. Cheryl Thomas and Robert Reed co-hosted "Spot-On" and during the program both were attached to tends units and had to perform simple tasks while being shocked. It was a great show and will air on DATV on Spectrum Cable in Dayton.
Monday evening DATV recorded "Veterans On The Homefront". A monthly informational program for veterans in the Miami Valley. This month's guest is Phil Pitzer, a movie producer, writer, director and actor. Phil starred in the sequel to the 1969 cult classic "Easy Rider".

The LiveText workshop will give you the knowledge to produce name keys and basic graphics for use during studio production recordings.
The Audio Workshop will teach you the necessary skills to operate the Mackie audio board in the Studio Control Room during both live and taped productions.
