“GP is one of those guys where I don't ever see him really affected in terms of you know the emotion. Does he get the ball? Does he not get the ball? If these guys play a lot of snaps, I think part of it is us rotating those guys through. But he needs to understand that he impacts us in the running game as well. You know, he's got to do the same thing in the run game — picking up safeties and blocking corners — just like Javonte does, picking up blitzes so he can catch balls. That's part of the team-first mindset, and GP does understand that. And you know when he's going, they're going to play soft inside. When he's not going, the safety gets pretty good runs at our backs, and that's going to improve.”

The FBI arrested a 17-year-old in McKinney, Texas, over an ISIS-inspired plot to assassinate Republican Congressman Keith Self and carry out a terrorist attack in North Texas.
The suspect was arrested after acquiring a firearm.
Self is a vocal critic of Sharia law and Islamic extremism. He co-founded the “Sharia-Free America Caucus”

Austin has spent $790,052 of this year's federal anti-poverty grant, all of it on salaries and benefits for 13 city employees.
The city's proof that it's working is that 36 people "transitioned out of poverty."
What counts as a transition is if a household earns more than about $40,000 a year for a family of four, for 90 days.
But nobody checks back after those 90 days to see.
The goal is 41 people. Last year the city reported 49, and it kept the goal at 41 for some reason.
That’s nearly $800,000 in pay and benefits to hit an easy target that only measures three months of income.
