Blackety-blacks love to call someone like me a “coon” or “sellout”, and yet they’re the ones choosing to stay on the plantation.

Don't forget AZ, you don't have to change your clocks on Sunday, but you need to change the Governor on Tuesday!

Bears fans live for the Packers man. The packers have put that fanbase through so much trauma.
This Brewers victory celebration seems bigger than when the Bucks won.

Just a few more days before #Arizona has a chance to dethrone the veto queen and elect @andybiggs4az as our new governor.

⚾57 YEARS. ONE BANKRUPT FRANCHISE. AND A WORLD SERIES ENDING THAT SOUNDS LIKE A HOLLYWOOD MOVIE.
The Milwaukee Brewers just accomplished something generations of baseball fans thought they might never live to see. And when you learn how this franchise began, the victory becomes even more extraordinary.
It all started with a team that barely survived its first season.
In 1969, they weren’t even the Milwaukee Brewers. They were the Seattle Pilots, an expansion team that lasted just ONE season before collapsing into bankruptcy.
Then came Bud Selig.
In 1970, Selig and his investors purchased the struggling franchise for approximately $10.8 million, moved it to Milwaukee, and gave it a new name: the Brewers.
What followed was more than half a century of hope, heartbreak, rebuilding, and waiting.
They reached the World Series in 1982 but lost to the St. Louis Cardinals. For the next 44 years, they never made it back.
Until 2026.
And what a season it was.
The Brewers finished with a franchise-record 103 regular-season victories, the best record in Major League Baseball.
They eliminated San Diego, swept the mighty Los Angeles Dodgers, and entered the World Series against Tampa Bay looking almost unstoppable.
Then, on Wednesday night, October 28, history finally happened.
Milwaukee defeated the Rays 4–1 in Game 5 to capture its FIRST World Series championship in franchise history.
But here are the details that make this story even better.
🔥 Rookie Cooper Pratt, just 22 years old, set a World Series rookie record with hits in six consecutive at-bats.
🔥 Young pitcher Jacob Misiorowski delivered 5⅔ scoreless innings in the championship game, allowing only two hits.
🔥 William Contreras earned World Series MVP honors.
🔥 Milwaukee finished the postseason with an astonishing 11–2 record, including SEVEN comeback victories.
And perhaps the most beautiful part?
More than 31,000 fans packed Milwaukee’s home ballpark just to watch the championship game on the giant scoreboard.
The game was being played roughly 1,200 miles away in Florida, but back home, an entire city was holding its breath.
Some fans had waited their entire lives. Others were celebrating for parents and grandparents who never got to witness this moment.
There was even a special connection to baseball legend Hank Aaron, whose retired No. 44 hangs in Milwaukee’s ballpark. The Brewers had waited 44 years since their previous World Series appearance to finally bring home the trophy.
A franchise that began in bankruptcy court had become the champion of baseball.
From the Seattle Pilots to the Milwaukee Brewers. From financial collapse to 103 victories. From 57 seasons without a title to WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS.
Congratulations, Milwaukee. This one was worth the wait. 🏆⚾
Who remembers when they were the Seattle Pilots?
THE MILWAUKEE BREWERS ARE THE WORLD CHAMPIONS!!!

I swear, these @Brewers just don’t know when to quit.
Two more to go!

But I thought nobody cared about this year’s #WorldSeries?
True baseball fans know how refreshing it is to see two overlooked clubs hungry for their first championship.
I envy everyone in #Milwaukee who made it into the stadium tonight. I don’t envy those ticket prices though. Go Brew Crew!
