Actually happened to me. 2008. My abdomen was swollen. I was having period for months at a time. The doctor told me to take birth control told me I’m fine. Keep bleeding. Then I began having really bad sciatica like pain down my entire left leg. I go back. Still bleeding. Having to sleep on covers and towels. They FINALLY order an internal ultrasound and refer me to an obgyn. Obgyn says okay. Need to schedule an emergency hysterectomy. Im like wait what? He says, We will save what we can. I lost everything unfortunately. They found one volleyball sized cyst full of liquid and one hiding behind it softball sized. I suffered for about 2-3 years before it was figured out. I was anemic, sick, bedridden and lost my job by then
