It took three months to build three days of momentum. 70+ speakers. Two of us behind the curtain. At Vienna Blockchain Week 2025, I had the chance to moderate one of the most technical and important discussions of the event: the "Bitcoin Mining, Energy & Infrastructure" panel with a researcher, an academic, and an industry builder: 🔹 Alexander Neumüller – Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance 🔹 Prof. Horst Treiblmaier – Modul University Vienna 🔹 Bernhard Thalhammer – SEND.SOCIAL What made this panel different? We looked at real data, incentive structures, regulatory shifts, and how miners and energy producers are increasingly co-dependent in ways the public still underestimates. Yet, there’s another story behind that stage! Together with Ed Prinz, we organised the entire event in just 3 months for @DLTAustria , where I led Growth. That meant: – Designed the full program with Ed – Onboarded the majority of speakers and collaborators – Secured and/or facilitated key partnerships – Arranged onsite interviews and ran comms to amplify reach – Arranged @BybitEU's top-tier presence, including securing the venue partnership at @ceu for the DARTE session – Collaborated with @Venionaire Capital AG on the composition of Day 3 – Collected 18 testimonials from high-profile speakers This became the most impactful event @DLTAustria has ever produced, and the aftermovie will speak for itself. If there's one takeaway from this experience, it’s this: Knowledge in a field means little if it stays siloed. What matters is the ability to build systems, earn trust, and bring the right people together. Fast. That’s where real growth happens. #vbw25
