I don't argue, I debate but call out idiots. Climate isn't a threat, it's a blessing. Wind/Solar are problems not solutions. Ex Cop. Ex business. No DM's.

🚨New Reform policy: This Burnham U-turn will cost British taxpayers billions. The biggest, most fraudulent and costly part of the Tory Boriswave betrayal are now being given ILR and passports. They will change Britain beyond recognition. Reform will not stand for this.

Yesterday @EmilyThornberry revealed a Pakistani man who came to Islington to work as carer is "relieved" his family will all be allowed to stay forever. The family has now been joined by "a little boy with a rare genetic condition." She asked @ShabanaMahmood if the lad can have UK taxpayer funded benefits. Of course we all want the best for him but this begs so many questions. Is he their son? Did they just abandon him till now? How many other low paid carers are bringing relatives who are partly or wholly dependent on the state? It's completely unaffordable!

So, let me get this straight: This little coke head asshole has been given $196 billion of American tax dollars, blows up diesel refineries, kidnaps people off the street, and now has been caught running black site torture dens with victims as young as 14 years old. And, America is still supporting this guy instead of ending this war entirely? Seriously, what are we doing anymore…
A torture chamber of Zelensky was uncovered near Kiev, where over 40 mobilised men were held captive by Ukraine's National Guard. The youngest victim was reportedly just 14 years old. There is now great outrage and riots in Ukraine against the henchmen of Zelensky and NATO.

So this is the price of Labour's Brexit "reset". Brussels wants us to drop the plan to deport EU criminals jailed for more than a year. If that's signed on 20 November, it isn't a reset. It's surrendering control of our own borders. Borderless, broken Britain. "Dynamic alignment" is a lovely phrase. It means Brussels writes the rules, Britain follows them, and we get no say. We voted to be a rule maker, not a rule taker.
Exclusive from @oliver_wright Brussels is demanding that ministers scrap plans to increase the number of European criminals who can be deported from Britain as the price of the Brexit reset Under changes to the law brought in this year, ministers plan to deport all foreign criminals who are sentenced to more than 12 months in prison, even if that sentence is suspended The law allows the Home Office to deport a criminal from the moment they are given a jail sentence. Previous rules meant someone had to serve at least a third of their sentence before being eligible for expulsion But the moves have raised alarm bells in EU capitals that are concerned about taking back criminals who served no sentence in the UK and cannot be jailed in their home countries thetimes.com/uk/politics/art…

“Gender” and “sex” are the same exact thing. We define gender by identities that are associated with biological sex. So, “gender” is exactly the same thing as “biological sex”. And up until a decade ago, everyone used the terms interchangeably. If gender were just a social construct, people having an identity crisis would not require life-altering surgeries to affirm it. Period. Also, have you noticed that there are no transgender dogs, cats, or any other animals? When a veterinarian cuts the nuts off of a male dog, the dog does not all of a sudden become female or gender neutral. And do you wanna know how I know I'm right? Because this Webster Dictionary entry of “gender” from 1828 defines them exactly the same. The idea that “gender” and “sex” are different is just pure ideological buIIshit.

Zeke Hausfather has me blocked here on X and now also at his Substack, but that won't stop me from calling out his bad takes Here he asserts that WIlliam Nordhaus accurately predicted climate change back in 1977 Nordhaus did many great things but Zeke is wrong here . . . 1/2

Nordhaus 1977 paper combined his projection of emissions with an energy balance model to project (not predict) future temperature change As you can see below, Nordhaus' projection of CO2 emissions, like many of that era, was far too high Errors canceled Zeke should correct

The chief benefit from rising atmospheric CO₂ levels is an undeniable increase in planetary green leaf cover, now clearly visible from space. This fresh greening covers an area twice the size of the continental United States - yet it remains ignored by the institutional forces driving a narrative of climate emergency, and largely overlooked in the mainstream media. Data from NASA’s MODIS satellite instruments tells the real story. Rather than triggering global collapse, the rise in CO₂ sparked a massive expansion in the green canopy, stimulating agricultural yields (some cereal crops up by 280%) and natural ecosystems alike. This 'CO₂ fertilisation effect' occurs as plants perform photosynthesis more efficiently while losing less water through their stomata. Meanwhile, the global economy has been severely disrupted by a 40-year campaign built on forecasts of environmental doom from anthropogenic CO₂. This trace gas is not a climate control knob. It is the fundamental driver of biological photosynthesis and oxygen production. These campaigns, led by UN activism, demand a rapid, forced transition away from hydrocarbon energy. Yet wind and solar cannot supply the dense baseload power required for steel production and heavy industry. Hydrocarbon fuels still provide 82% of global primary power. This entire transition is justified under the warning that CO₂ emissions are leading the planet to the brink of catastrophe - with the total cost of this pointless pivot estimated at a staggering $275 trillion. Earth's geological history, paired with empirical satellite data, reveal a completely different reality: CO₂ is a powerful agent of biological enrichment. Its capacity to drive runaway global warming faces steep, immovable physical limitations. A critical pillar of atmospheric physics is how the warming effect of CO₂ continually reduces along a sliding logarithmic curve. The first 100 ppm of CO₂ exert the greatest impact on capturing outgoing infrared radiation. But as concentrations rise, absorption bands rapidly saturate. Each subsequent doubling of CO₂ yields an ever-smaller increment of radiative warmth. The concept of a runaway warming feedback loop loses its theoretical foundation under actual atmospheric conditions, where the 'rate of warming' diminishes progressively. Yet this debunked narrative is routinely recycled to fuel panic. Annual COP climate summits over the past thirty years also endlessly amplify this agenda of fear, functioning largely as high-end junkets for global elites. In geological terms, atmospheric CO₂ is in long-term decline - a fact carefully airbrushed from IPCC worst-case scenarios. During the Cambrian period, atmospheric CO₂ peaked as high as 7,000 ppm. Even with those immense concentrations, there was no global boiling; instead, it marked the greatest explosion of biological diversity in Earth's history. During the Last Glacial Maximum (26,000 to 19,000 years ago), CO₂ levels plummeted to roughly 180 ppm - dangerously close to the 150 ppm threshold below which most C3 plant life starves and dies. From a long-term evolutionary perspective, modern levels hovering above 420 ppm represent a vital, partial recovery from a geologically recent carbon drought, rather than a precursor to apocalypse. Today’s global average temperature sits at approximately 15°C. In the context of the history of complex life on land, this is remarkably cold. Earth’s baseline historical temperature average was closer to 24°C, characterised by ice-free poles and expansive, highly productive ecosystems. Our current global average actually reflects a colder-than-average ice age regime. Global climates are not controlled by trace gases. They are driven by massive, slow-moving astronomical, oceanic, and tectonic forces - such as Milankovitch orbital cycles or the shifting configuration of continents blocking equatorial ocean currents.

So...A typical Labour high-flyer One of the best features of the last 50 years is the steady improvement in the number of women running this country's institutions However, the quality of the birdbrains in this Labour cabinet is not helping this development
Here's @EmmaforWycombe She's a @UKLabour MP and the Chief Secretary to The Treasury. She's NEVER had ANY employment beyond lobbying and politics. She's the moronic airhead who recently declared that employers aren't working people. She knows absolutely NOTHING about business, commerce or hard graft. Her hands are as soft as fairy dust, she's never had dirty finger nails and her arse has been moulded to the shape of whichever "chair" she's been appointed to during her "career" of avoiding doing any actual work. She has no grasp whatsoever on how this country is kept afloat by it's millions of small businesses and it's business owners. She's an absolutely clueless waste of space. Totally out of her depth. An empty vessel with no hope of EVER understanding the endeavour, courage, entrepreneurial spirit and downright tenacity of millions of us who run businesses in this pitiful country that people like her have ruined through sheer incompetence, ignorance and indifference for the working people who foolishly voted for them. She perfectly sums up what's wrong with a system that promotes useless failures to lofty positions of power and encourages them to stamp on the heads of the people who truly care about this country and it's citizens and are prepared to get off their arses to do something about it.

Another day, another suspended sentence. 🚨 CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE IMAGES – SUSPENDED SENTENCE | KAI KNOWLES, 26, WINSFORD A 26-year-old man caught with hundreds of indecent images of children has avoided immediate prison after being handed a suspended sentence. Kai Knowles, of Winsford, admitted offences involving Category A, B and C indecent images of children. At Chester Magistrates’ Court, he was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for two years. The court said the decision to suspend the sentence was based on Knowles having a “realistic prospect of rehabilitation”. He must complete rehabilitation activities and unpaid work under probation supervision. Knowles will also be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and must remain on the Sex Offenders’ Register for 10 years. Two mobile phones, an iPhone and a Samsung, were ordered to be surrendered. There's no new drilling required. Just commissioning of already existing infrastructure.
EXC: The newly approved Jackdaw field will provide just TWO days of extra gas to the UK this winter, according to new data given to Metro. The analysis – drawn from the project’s own estimates – suggests the new drilling will produce just half a day of extra gas before 2027. The research by Uplift has sparked criticism of the government's claims that Jackdaw will improve the UK's energy security and 'support homegrown gas this winter'.
