In tribute to the late, great Sir #PatrickStewart , here is part of the Wizard magazine Casting Call from Wizard 77 in 1997 where the staff accurately predicted that the fan-favorite Star Trek actor should play Professor X in a live action #xmen movie.

DEEP!
Carl Jung wrote in 1933: "The man who does not face his shadow by 35 does not improve. He calcifies.
The defense becomes the personality."
It's a stark warning.
If you spend your life running from your shadow — your wounds, your fears, your flaws, your darkness — you don't stay the same.
You harden. You become rigid.
Your defenses become your identity.
The things you refuse to look at don't disappear. They fester.
They control you from the unconscious.
They turn into the walls you build around yourself.
And eventually, those walls are all that's left.
The defense becomes the personality.
But if you have the courage to face your shadow?
To look at the parts of yourself you'd rather hide?
That's where growth happens.
That's where freedom lives.
That's where you stop calcifying and start evolving.
So face your shadow. Not with shame.
With curiosity. Not with fear. With courage.
Because the only way to truly improve, to truly grow, to truly live, is to integrate the darkness, not run from it.

34 years ago today, X-Men: The Animated Series premiered on Fox Kids and immediately became a '90s classic. Still one of the greatest superhero cartoons ever made.
Wow man 🙏🏽🕊️🕊️🕊️
This year we’ve lost some AMAZING voices that stem back to childhood. 2026…man. 😢
What to say about the amazing Eric Bauza? There’s so much to say, actually, I really can’t decide where to start. I first met Eric on the Fairly Odd Parents about 20 years ago. He came in to do a minor voice for me and I recognized his immense talent instantly. From there, we kept bringing him in for whatever character we hadn’t cast yet because he could literally voice anything. Finally, we had a lead character come up that we needed a voice for.– the voice of Baby Foop, the anti-fairy - and he, of course, crushed that and did incredible. He even did the voice of Foop in the Fairly Odd Parents live action movie where that character made an appearance. Eric and I always had a great time when we were together. He was literally, one of the funniest people I ever met, and one of the most loyal and friendly. Friendly is very hard to come by in this business. I last saw him this past March at an event that I hosted and asked him to appear. He, of course, agreed and not only showed up, but brought the house down with his humor. He even showed off his amazing drawing talent by drawing a gigantic face of Bugs Bunny the character he is so well-known for voicing recently. It took some big talent to fill Mel Blanks shoes but only someone with the talent level of Erik could’ve done it, and do it he did. (I still have the drawing, by the way) The entertainment business is full of entertaining people, but it’s a special person that can be both entertaining, and a real person. That person was Eric. I’ll miss you forever, buddy. You’ll be making the angels laugh for eternity. Rest well.

I just found out that Sir Patrick Stewart has died.
Here is a video he made on the advice he would give to his younger self.
RIP
Damon Wayans says that even at 65 years old, if Keenen tells him to get him a soda, he's going to go get it, because in their family, it’s all about an unspoken code of respect, seniority, and brotherly hierarchy.
“Yeah, but like even now, this is how my family is. Like, I'm 65 years old and Keenen goes, "Go get me a soda," and I got to go get it.”
“If Marlon walks in a room, and you know, if I walk in a room and there's no seats, Marlon gets up. Sean and Keenen will sit, and Marlon will get up and say, "You sit here." And my son will have to do the same thing.”
“That's why I love the fact that they have children. Because I go to my theater sometimes and little Damon's there and Mikey's there, and as soon as I walk in the room, the youngest one gets up and lets me sit down without question, and I love that.”
“It's just how we do with each other. It's just a quiet code. Some things you don't have to teach, it's just what you see.”
