I’ve supported the RNLI for as long as I can remember and I will continue to support them. They should not be disrespected or targeted because they want to keep people using our waterways safe. Without fear nor favour. Proud to support the RNLI, now and always.

The Marvellous Spanish Galeon Andalucia arriving in Coleraine. Escorted by the RNLI’s Portrush All-Weather Lifeboat, William Gordon Burr. It was amazing to see. Its here until Saturday the 19th of July. Hopefully they get good support from the local population.

Today’s view from the office with @simpson_lyndsay. One of the ten minutes throughout the whole day when it wasn’t pouring down with rain.

This is so sad. It is frustrating, we know our own bodies, if something isn’t right keep going back, keep getting second opinions, or third, get more than one set of eyes to look at the symptoms. I feel there are still disparities when it comes to female health.

I see the AHA recommendation of removing M-CPR as a routine intervention is going down as expected. As someone living in a country where the nearest hospital can be at least 40mins away, and the option of access to an M-CPR device being slim to none, I can understand….. 1/2

…the concern. With the recent changes in resuscitation guidelines, the nearest M-CPR device being up to 50miles away and no HEMS/APCC overnight for senior clinical advice, more patients transported under CPR long distances will be a risk to crew safety and reduce CPR quality 2/2

Seen this on Fb. I’ve read several articles stating no difference in outcomes between traditional and mechanical CPR. However some situations require patients to be transported whilst undergoing CPR. Use of an M-CPR device would reduce risk to crews whilst vehicles are moving.
