Michael Penix and Malik Willis offer QB upside now, while James Conner, Terrance Ferguson and Kaelon Black are stashes who could become much more valuable over the next few weeks.

OMFG projected just 4.9 targets, 38.6 receiving yards and 6.6 half PPR fantasy points.
Instead, Tucker saw 12 targets and went for 5 catches, 103 yards and a TD.
We underestimated both the volume and the ceiling.
Consensus was higher, and even consensus wasn’t high enough.

OMFG GOT IT RIGHT: Tee Higgins

Week 7 through Sunday: WR2
OMFG kept Higgins in the strong WR2 tier despite the quieter results leading into the week.
He delivered 6 catches for 148 yards and a TD.
We were higher than consensus. The underlying profile won out.

OMFG GOT IT WRONG: Malik Nabers

OMFG: WR23
OMFG was projecting a lower-volume Giants passing attack with J.J. McCarthy, and that part was pretty close.
McCarthy attempted only 28 passes.
Where we missed was the concentration.
Nabers commanded 11 targets and turned them into 7 catches for 111 yards.
The passing volume wasn’t the problem. We underestimated just how heavily that volume would funnel through Nabers.

OMFG GOT IT RIGHT: Quinshon Judkins
Final consensus: RB24
OMFG: RB17
Week 7 through Sunday: RB3
Judkins returned with 17 carries for 96 yards, 2 TDs and another 8 yards receiving.
OMFG was willing to move him immediately back into the RB2 conversation.
He gave us an RB1 ceiling game instead.

OMFG GOT IT WRONG: Zay Flowers

OMFG: WR21
Our concern was the ceiling with Tyler Huntley under center.
OMFG still projected Flowers for solid volume, but only 46 receiving yards and 9.0 half PPR fantasy points because we expected the passing game to be less efficient.
Flowers saw 11 targets and turned them into 8 catches for 137 yards and a TD.
The volume wasn't the miss.
We underestimated how efficiently Flowers could turn that opportunity into a ceiling game with Huntley.

OMFG GOT IT RIGHT: Joe Burrow

OMFG: QB1
Week 7 through Sunday: QB1
OMFG projected 320 passing yards and 2.5 TDs, pushing Burrow into the top spot when consensus kept him outside the elite tier.
He answered with 292 yards and 4 TDs.
The exact projection wasn’t the point. The QB1-tier call was.
