A fun way to end vacation is by enduring stop-and-go traffic essentially the entire distance from McDonough, Ga., to the west side of Chattanooga.

Epcot’s character meet-and-greets have really fallen off. This guy was the best available.

Unfortunate bit of Glasgow news to wake up to - an overnight fire destroyed at least the seating area of Richardson Field, the long-standing baseball stadium at Gorin Park. Photo via the Glasgow Parks and Recreation Department’s Facebook page.

Random memory from my time as a Glasgow sportswriter: State semifinal Friday in 1999. A Louisville TV station landed its helicopter mid-game on the practice field behind Hank Royse Stadium, a guy spent a few minutes getting footage/info, then they flew away.
