October is Global Diversity Month! 🌍 In the U.S., only 13.5% of medical graduates report as URM, with Hispanic and Latino graduates at just 6.2%. Increasing diversity in medicine is crucial for better patient care and health outcomes.

Honored to have spoken at the Indonesia International Cancer Conference on de-escalation of axillary surgery in breast cancer, and to be part of the integrated breast and cervical cancer early detection workshop. It was an incredible experience, not only sharing knowledge but also learning from global experts. Grateful to the hosts for their warmth and amazing hospitality. It was great to connect with MD Anderson colleagues and collaborate on addressing cancer disparities.
