DID YOU KNOW…
Every state, plus DC, Guam, & Puerto Rico, allow for the safe abandonment of infants by mothers who cannot care for them. If you are in such a situation, you can contact the National Safe Haven Alliance for details on permitted locations & other details.
A major issue with elections is that the typical voter doesn’t think long-term. It’s almost always about immediate gratification to a concern within a few-months timeframe.
Candidates know this, so they almost never speak of long-term expectations and solutions. This causes the pendulum to swing between parties with nothing ever solved, leading to a Hegelian dialectic that progressively devolves nearly every industry.
If voters actually became informed of the long-term fallout for the short-term promises, the state of the U.S. would be considerably different.
Some possibilities:
* 100% energy independence, expanded nuclear, modernized power grid
* No reliance on foreign oil, expansion as a net exporter
* Social security stabilized
* Healthcare costs considerably lower
* National debt balanced or nearly balanced
* Markets and monetary policy more stable
Now, there would definitely be disagreements on how to reach these (e.g. less/more regulation, privatization, public works, patent reform, etc.), however enough agreement could be reached on many aspects of them to at least rein in on the root causes for current problems that aren’t seeing any long-term solutions at all and to incrementally work toward the areas of agreement.
Alas, I doubt this will ever happen, as it’s voter nature to seek immediate gratification and of lobbyists to seek immediate kickbacks and of politicians to seek immediate election results.
My phone has been so peaceful again. Now, the only text messages I get are the daily small business loan scams and real estate scams.
I tried reading that, but all I hear in my mind is Charlie Brown’s teacher saying “wah wah wah wah.”
Over the last two years, Senate Republicans have put up a strong record of accomplishment that’s created safer streets, more money in Americans’ pockets, and new opportunities for families and businesses to get ahead. After fighting Democrat obstruction at every turn, we prevented the largest tax hike in American history, secured our border in an unprecedented way, confirmed the president’s Cabinet at the fastest pace in two decades, and put strong conservative judges on benches across the country faster than we have since the Reagan administration. I’m proud of our team and everything we’ve done for the American people, and I’m looking forward to the important work we have in front of us over the next few months. As we head into 2027, Senate Republicans will not stand idly by as the far-left, socialist wing of the Democrat Party attempts to unwind everything we’ve done. Thankfully, we still have President Trump in the White House, and we’ll work with him to stop the worst impulses of Democrat extremism. We cannot let their fringe positions become the mainstream.
I wouldn’t be surprised if some people were so sick of getting 10 texts and 3 calls every day for a month from political candidates that they decided to just not vote.
There’s a pro-abortion girl spamming a bogus list everywhere of diagnoses she claims are treated by induced abortions.
It’s obvious that she has never spoken with anyone outside her bubble, much less a physician, as induced abortions would: be completely outside scope, would put pregnant women at greater risk, and/or would not resolve the conditions. The in-scope ones are routinely treated by high-risk pregnancy specialists with resulting live births.
It’s amazing the levels pro-abortion people will go to push their ignorance or psychopathy in an attempt to expand access to a method of human execution.
What’s immediately clear with people like this upon the first reply is that they are not interested in facts that counter their claims.
They lash out with vitriol, ad hominem attacks, profanity, and anything to dodge directly addressing the points, as focusing on the core content would reveal the major holes in the original arguments.
It all comes down to them using medical diagnoses as excuses for removing any and all restrictions on induced abortions to avoid birthing a live child.
That viewpoint perfectly aligns with those of sex traffickers, serial abusers, and all the morally-bankrupt men society can dredge up. So much for fighting “the patriarchy.”

Anyone who claims that criminal abortion laws ban treatments after miscarriage or for ectopic pregnancy is either an ignorant fool or a sociopath.
I don’t care which political party you are; if you have contributed to the 10 SMS spams per day my phone has received this past month, you will never get a donation or an endorsement from me, and none of these spams are convincing me more to vote for you.
