🏝️ WiMo supports the VP0SG DXpedition to South Georgia 2027 🐧 In March 2027, the Amateur Radio DXpeditions (ARD) team sets course for one of the rarest destinations in DXCC: the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia ❄️. Under the callsign VP0SG, the radio amateurs will be active on the bands from Husvik – landing permit and expedition vessel are already secured 🚢. To ensure the signals reliably cut through worldwide pileups even under the extreme weather conditions of the South Atlantic, WiMo is supporting the project as an official sponsor 🤝. We are providing the expedition with a trapless OptiBeam OB4-2WARC 📡. The robust 4-element Yagi provides maximum efficiency, excellent directivity, and high mechanical stability on 17 m and 12 m 💪. We wish the team every success and look forward to strong signals together with you in spring 2027 📻!
