The flies are gone. Sleep is comfortable. I get into my car without it being a furnace. Heated seats and steering on. Comfortably wear a hoodie. Indoors is cosy.

Here are 5 things you need to know:
1. You must register a baby's birth within 42 days (6 weeks)
2. It's free to register a birth
3. You can register the birth at your local register office
4. Either parent can register if you’re married or in a civil partnership
5. A copy of the birth certificate costs £12.50
