Just because you're 1-4-1 doesn't mean you shouldn't trade for a piece that could make you better now and in the future. Example. What I do know: QNelson is an all-pro talent for the next few years. What I hope: that the 3rd and 5th round picks will become Pro Bowl talent.

The reason deals like these are worth it for Washingotn is because of Jayden Daniels! When you have a franchise QB, you're not going to finish in the top 5 of the draft! You have to build the roster with trades and FA like the 49ers, Bears, and Rams!

Trading for Quentin Nelson makes ZERO sense. A 3rd and a 5th round pick for a team that has a limited number of picks and poor depth at several positions. Peters was right to not make this move.
