OpenAI closed ~$11B at a $1.25T valuation this week (per Bloomberg). For most of us shipping client work or side projects, it mainly means the models keep improving. The actual job is still getting the site to load on MTN data and making sure the booking form doesn’t break. What part of your stack still needs human eyes?

Agents spin up Supabase projects and wire auth in minutes. Cool. But a hotel site that takes 8s to load on MTN in Abuja still loses the booking. Speed is the feature no agent can fake yet. Still testing on real mobile data?

OpenAI just released GPT-6 Cyber — a model tuned for finding real vulnerabilities and writing working exploits. Only for approved security teams right now. Shipping SaaS and client apps, this is the signal: solid auth, proper validation, and least-privilege endpoints matter more than ever. Time for a quick audit?

AI agents nail the happy path. Auth, forms, basic CRUD — done in minutes. Then someone on slow data refreshes mid-submit or drops an emoji in the phone field and it collapses. Building Feedloop taught me the same: test the exits first. Benchmarks miss that. What's the dumbest edge case your AI still can't handle?

Ripple-65B Preview just dropped under Apache 2.0. A 65B dense model scoring 80.5 on Terminal-Bench 2.1 — matching or beating much larger MoEs on real terminal coding tasks. More open options for running your own coding agents locally. Anyone tried it yet?

Auth worked on wifi but timed out on every MTN 4G redirect. Cold-starting Supabase function. Switched the critical path to an edge function and it just worked. Anyone else finding mobile data in Nigeria exposes cold starts that never show on desktop?

Claude just added a Personal Finance tool that lets you connect bank accounts via Plaid and ask where the money went — in plain English. For small businesses that’s useful. For us building similar stuff, the real work is still the secure linking and not inventing spending categories. US only for now. Anyone tried it?

Supabase just made it so Grok Bot + Cursor can ship backend changes from chat. On Feedloop the auth and storage wiring is basically gone now. The real work is still deciding what the product should do when the agent asks “what next?” Anyone else finding the bottleneck moved from setup to product thinking?

Mira’s team dropped Inkling 2 Small. 594B MoE, 17B active, 1M context, open weights next week. For solo builders watching API costs, another strong open option is useful. Still early days — curious how it handles real messy codebases vs the usual tools. Anyone on Tinker yet?

GPT-6 Cyber just found 588 unknown Linux kernel flaws. OpenAI quadrupled the bounties. For those of us shipping Next.js + Supabase apps, AI is getting scary good at spotting the deep bugs. But your RLS policies and auth flows still need a human pass. When was the last time you ran a security review with an agent on your own project?

Most construction firms still send after-hours leads to a form that times out on mobile data. The phone is off after 6. A WhatsApp button with the job type already filled keeps the chat going. Forms look clean. Buttons actually get replies. When did you last test what happens to leads after hours?

Spent time fixing a restaurant form that only broke on mid-range Androids. Date picker from 2023 used an API Chrome killed last month. Works fine on my phone. Customers on real devices? Form just sits there. How often are you testing your live flows on phones that aren't brand new?

3 hours chasing a bug that only happened on one client's old Android. Session token just vanished in their WebView. Everything looked fine on my phone and desktop. If your users aren't on the latest devices, your "works on my machine" auth is lying to you.

Anthropic’s Claude agents can now “dream” — offline cleanup that merges duplicates, fixes bad notes & pulls patterns from past sessions. For building agents or daily Claude Code use, this cuts the “it forgot again” friction. Would you let an agent rewrite its own memory?
