Dear Stacey Abrams, This moment is dedicated to YOU. Before Keisha Lance Bottoms made history as the first Black woman elected governor in America, you dared to show us that it was possible. You ran when the road was uncertain. You stood tall when the outcome wasn’t what we’d hoped. And instead of allowing defeat to define your story, you continued the work of making sure our voices were heard. Your courage, your grace, your commitment to voting rights, and your power to organize helped lay the groundwork for a Georgia that looks different today. And while we celebrate this historic victory and the wave of change sweeping across the country, we cannot forget the women who helped make moments like this possible. Stacey, we see you.
