The automated clip titles will give you a flavour of the sort of unhinged conversations we had about the trailer 🫣
Closing the requests for this now, as we're going to record soon. Thank you to everyone who sent a voice message, hopefully if this segment is received well then we'll bring it back for future episodes 🙏
20 seconds or less to give us your hot trailer takes, would love to feature as many as possible on the show:

Will be recording the podcast with @myelessar tomorrow evening, covering last week's epic trailer!
And we're trying something new: we want to hear your quickfire reactions to the trailer! Hyperbole, insanity, and humour encouraged. SpeakPipe link in the reply below 📢
Please keep sending in your voice notes for the podcast, you'll be kept anonymous 🤫 first half dozen have been so good and I'd love more to justify the absolute bs intro I've cooked up for this segment 😅

I'm sure someone else will have come up with this, but my first thought about this scene was Isildur saving someone (Estrid hopefully) from the gallows in true Robin Hood style by shooting the rope?
Probably far too cheesy but seeing the Faithful as vigilantes would be fun
Mildly amusing in hindsight that people were worried about Galadriel being sidelined only for the trailer to show her to be at the centre of the action, and I mean that in every sense of the word 🤷♂️
"Beautiful. Dangerous. A reptile in black leather" 🔥
Might be one of the most delicious descriptions of Sauron yet
Very excited to see Charlie's performance as he peels back another layer of Sauron
Charlie Vickers and ‘Rings of Power’ showrunners J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay are breaking down a fiery season 3 scene in which Sauron tries — and fails — to create the One Ring. ew.com/rings-of-power-season…
Always stop at every book stall at a market, because you never know when you'll find a lovely copy of Tolkien's translations
🎙️NEW EPISODE🎙️
We're back: after two long years from an unexpected hiatus, @myelessar and I embark on a 4 hour epic journey going line-by-line and shot-by-shot through the Season 3 Teaser Trailer!

Yeah just a casual 4 hours and 45 minutes of audio to edit, can't imagine why I ever got burnt out doing the podcast
3 hours into recording the podcast, and still having only covered 50 seconds of the trailer, @myelessar's internet was literally shut off by lightning strikes. Even mother nature doesn't want the podcast to come back 💔
