"DID YOU KNOW MEDIEVAL PEOPLE BATHED REGULARLY, HAD RELATIVELY EASY ACCESS TO CLEAN DRINKING WATER AND THAT VIKINGS DIDN'T HAVE HORNS ON THEIR HELMETS??" Perfect depiction of how my dates generally went.

#PhallusThursday or should that be #PhallusThirsty as this delightful cup offers a drinker oodles of good fortune if the sheer number of phalluses is anything to go by! 🏛 Colchester Collections

We must also thank @DamesDemons podcast for providing inspiration for two of the tracks on this album ♀️⚔️💋 Hoping to announce an exciting collab with them in the new year... 🤞

@PalaceSounds has a new album out today! Described as "A concept album about high fantasy, feminist history, and dog walking in North Edinburgh," it's a whimsical romp that will have you thinking about Heddy Lamarr & Madeline Smitm. Please check it out! stormthepalace.bandcamp.com/…

There’s a guy next to me on the train smashing through a spreadsheet accompanied by an open can of Heineken. Guys, I’ve found our new Prime Minister.

THE FINAL verse of our new single is all about Ottilie "Tillie" Klimek. Ottilie may have killed up to 14 people, including 4 husbands - mostly by slipping arsenic in their food. She told the police officer who arrested her "The next one I want to cook a dinner for is you."

THE INFAMOUS Lizzie Borden features in the third verse of our new single. Personally I think it was her brother who wielded the axe, but that she played her part. The Borden house is actually a B&B now, for those who like their weekend breaks with the tang of bloodshed.

THE SECOND VERSE of our new single is about 19th century Glasgow poisoner and society darling, Madeleine Smith. You can learn the full, scandalous story in this darkly hilarious episode of @DamesDemons anchor.fm/demons-and-dames/e…

DID YOU KNOW the first verse of our new single is about 1930s murderess and style icon, Violette Nozière. If you're intrigued, I highland recommend listening to the @DamesDemons podcast on her (you may recognise one of the presenters): anchor.fm/demons-and-dames/e…

You said: "Not enough songs with both bagpipes and harpsichord" We did: youtu.be/btyQgYKJxAY (Ok, literally no one said this but we did anyway)

Thanks @SunnyGRadio for playing She Knows. Glad you enjoyed ❤️‍🔥 This one is not actually on Bandcamp yet, but it will be soon, and in the meantime it's available on all the usual evil streaming platforms..

Our new single "She Knows" is out today in all the usual places. It's about real life female murderers! It heralds our third album "La Bête Blanche" which comes out in November. Blessings upon @FaithEliott for the illustration and @DamesDemons podcast for the inspiration.

Last night I captured one of my best images to date. Probably the single most important event in a Guillemot's life. Unable to yet fly, a 3-week-old chick leaps off the cliff, following its dad who will teach it how to fend for itself out at sea over the coming weeks.
