21 June 1943 | Professor Zygmunt Łempicki, a Polish Germanist and a professor at the @UniWarszawski, died of typhus in the German camp #Auschwitz.
He was incarcerated there on April 28, 1943. He became no. 119339.
He was 57 years old.
