It's tour announcement time - we're heading to Chile, Colombia and Mexico this September! #cradleoffilth #schecter #schecterguitars #darkglass #darkglasselectronics #newtone #newtonestrings #mooer #mooeraudio #fishman #dslstraps #bass #metal

It's been quite a week! Three gigs, three different countries, and lots of travel. Tonight's show with the good people of @massaokeglas was especially sweaty, but lots of fun, as always. Time to relax now and have a beer with the cat! #cat #cats #catsofinstagram #mainecoon #beer

Getting set up to play with @massaokeglas tonight. First gig with the @SchecterGuitars C-1 E/A, currently looking lovely in its natural environment! #massaoke #massaokescotland #schecter #schecterguitars #mooer #mooeraudio #newtone #newtonestrings #fishman #fishmanpickups

Great times at @GraspopMetal last night! It was a real buzz seeing the sea of faces in the tent for our show, and I had a blast on stage. Time to start the journey home now. 🚌 🛫 #cradleoffilth

Don't you hate it when you're trying to play a gig and an infernal vortex opens up behind you? I mean, come on. 📸 @SethAbrikoos #cradleoffilth #schecter #schecterguitars #darkglass #darkglasselectronics #newtone #newtonestrings #mooer #fishman #dslstraps #bass #metal

I went for a quick wander around Leeuwarden last night before our performance at Into the Grave fest. What a nice place! #cradleoffilth #intothegrave #intothegravefestival #leeuwarden

Waiting on a hotel shuttle, enjoying the little shade my Enki case can provide. The woman at immigration didn't even bat an eyelid when I replied 'Into the Grave' after she asked which festival I was off to. To be fair, I might actually end up dead in this heat.

This weekend @CradleofFilth are descending on Into the Grave fest in the Netherlands, and I'm champing at the bit! 📸 @annienyhc #cradleoffilth #schecter #schecterguitars #dslstraps #mooer #darkglass #newtone #newtonestrings #fishman #intothegrave

I had lots of fun trying out the new SD30i amp from @mooeraudio last night. Super easy to dial in a great tone, nice and loud, and so many modern features I barely even scratched the surface. One of the coolest things has to be the portability, with a five hour battery life!

Throwback to twelve whole days ago in Las Vegas, at the first festival of the season. Looking forward to more such outings in the coming weeks and months! 📸 @anabeldflux (IG) #cradleoffilth #schecter #schecterguitars

Cheers to everyone who wished me a happy birthday today!

Feeling a bit worn out after last night's Fit to Work gig, due to some early birthday drinks and jumping in the pit for @EndlessSwarm (it's been a while, and I'm not as supple as I used to be). So today I've mostly been drinking tea and chilling with the cats.

I'm pretty excited to hear the brand new Paul Simon album, 'Seven Psalms', tomorrow. I also wanted to show off this new C-1 E/A guitar from Schecter, so I thought I'd play a snippet from one of Simon's classics with it - Kathy's Song.

I'm currently swooning over this new Schecter C-1 E/A semi-hollow. Apart from the stunning looks, it was the inclusion of a Fishman Power Bridge, for those acoustic tones, that really grabbed my interest. This thing has a huge range of tonal options. And it feels great to play!

That was definitely one of the shortest sets I've played with Cradle, but it was great while it lasted. Thanks to everyone who stayed late to see us, and the Crewdle for staying frosty in the heat of the kitchen. We'll be back! #cradleoffilth #schecter
