Hey @OpenAI @thsottiaux how am I supposed to apply for DayBreak access when this has been the identity verification result every time I try? Can we try zoom or something? This is ridiculous...

Pretty clear the @Verizon CEO lives in a bubble and doesn't understand his customers... which is exactly why they will bail when @SpaceX enters the market.
Verizon's CEO said today that SpaceX will need at least 4-6 years and $300B-$500B to fully build out its @Starlink Mobile U.S. carrier network: "Their service just can't compete with a terrestrial network. In suburban and urban areas, where 98% of our revenues are, we're somewhere between 100x–1,000x more efficient than they are. We know exactly what they're going to do. We know who they're talking to on towers. There's no magic wand. There's no secret sauce. There's no shortcut. They're going to look at 65,000–80,000 macro sites. They're going to need backhaul, RAN, and a tremendous amount of spectrum. It's going to take a minimum of four to six years to fully build that out. It's going to cost hundreds and hundreds of billions of dollars, I assume somewhere between $300 billion and $500 billion. Then they need to build retail, customer service, back office systems, et cetera. All of that gets them basically the same network and same capabilities and same cost structure as what we have today. Then sometime over the next four to six years, they have the possibility of becoming the sixth, not the fourth, the sixth competitor in the market. You can be sure over these next three to five years or six years, we are not going to be standing still. Four to five years from now, we will be two to three generations better than where we are today. We will have high-speed broadband gig-plus coverage across the country with our millimeter wave. We are ahead of most people and already experimenting with what 6G applications will look like." (via Verizon's Q3 earnings call earlier this morning)

Dots constantly interrupting you mid thought, or coming back with updates on 10 things all in one go is the opposite of productive... @OpenAI @thsottiaux

10:02am PST... think we need to define what "before" means...
Replying to @thsottiaux
Landing tomorrow before 10am PST together with a small ship.

Does anyone else feel like AI is creating a bubble worse than the .com or housing bubbles? You have @AnthropicAI reporting an ~$80B loss but claiming a market cap of ~$2T... that is INSANE!!!

100% Its time for the French to stop the genocide and #FreePalestine. The French are on stolen land, and it's time to return it to the Palestinians 🤣🤣🤣
The only solution for France now is a two state solution 🇵🇸🇫🇷

Then there is the Daybreak application for @OpenAI... now that you have 2FA setup please go order a Hardware Key so that you can have 3FA... you're killing me @thsottiaux
At Mom's physical therapy appointment and one of the workers said, "I have to use my phone to authenticate to an app and then get an authentication code to authenticate to another app, just so I can authenticate to the main on the laptop". I felt her pain immensely

As much as I love free resets, @OpenAI @thsottiaux here's some low hanging fruit. Let me pause execution outside of a goal. Great for shutting down your laptop for travel or you're stepping away and it'll run into trouble when your computer locks. Also having a kid mode so they don't mess up my history and it locks it down to ensure age appropriate usage on my account. Really helpful for when they start playing with your phone or tablet.

What happens when @elonmusk makes an AI model to be maximally truth telling 🤣
Replying to @BaT_MaN_23
Done. Removed the X logo.

What the heck is going on @OpenAI the Dot has become completely unusable today. It cannot use tools, it cannot handle any configurations... it cannot even use it's own browser and the take over isn't working I have to exit the view and then come back just to see if it took any input.... @thsottiaux

Hey @Apple you may need to specify year at this point.

I'm really curious... @elonmusk is already selling excess compute to his #AI competitors... With the plans for orbital data centers and TerraFab, how long before we see a new "XOrbit" platform competing with Azure, AWS, GCP, & Cloudflare?

Still waiting to see this improvement...
Day 9/ We've rolled out optimizations to how we store state on disk for the chatgpt & codex desktop app that should reduce the amount stored on disk by 60%. Small ship but we've heard enough feedback about power users running out of disk space.

When used correctly #AI is absolutely incredible. I was able to discover some bugs in #PrismLib that have never been reported, and had escaped testing for up to 17 years!

New times call for new measures to protect you from catching a computer virus from your robot 🤣🤣🤣
Bruh I am so done with SF

You ask what can @thsottiaux do that's actually of value? More than a reset? Simple... allow dots to connect to more than one computer at a time so that it can manage work across my Windows and Mac. This is super critical for cross platform validation testing.

also super helpful would be more resilient connections between ChatGPT Desktop and the Dots. I can be chatting with the dot and it'll show my computer as offline.

I will say @Google has done a much better job with Translations since backing it with #Gemini... but they really need better voice options and localization options within a language. Also can I get a dad is pissed voice option?

Honestly... this right here... take a page out of the book of General Black Jack Pershing... one firing squad stopped terrorism in the name of Islam for 50 years!
I don't want to make a martyr of the Fort Hood terrorist. @POTUS @SecWar if you really want to deter future Islamist terrorists, use fear and shame in their executions. All-female firing squads with bullets dipped in bacon fat.
