Tim Dillon on MAGA: “Trump now is playing to the lowest caliber of human being in our country. These are basically people that are just violent psychopaths that are attending these rallies. They don’t care about any of the Epstein stuff. I’ve lost friendships over people that have joined the MAGA cult and you couldn’t get them back. They were gone and you could just see it in their eyes where it’s like, oh you’re gone, you can’t come back. These people are so far gone that they no longer care about anything except what this man says. They have absolutely no logic left”

Obama: "Canada, that historical adversary of ours. It's your neighbour. It's a few minutes drive over the bridge. They are the nicest people. And somehow we've gotten them so mad because they're just constantly being abused and talked about. Talking about annexing their country, making it a 51st state."

Jared Kushner’s Hacked Phone Revealed His Secret Negotiations—Including More Than $700 Million In Transfers vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

The GRU hacked into Jared Kushner's iPhone. Dutch military intelligence (MIVD) then recruited a GRU spy who gave them access to the hacked phone. What MIVD discovered was that Kushner had access to two bank accounts --one Azerbaijani, the other Israeli --where Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Emirati ruler Mohammed bin Zayed deposited money. It sounds like a slightly far-fetched episode of "Slow Horses," but it's real. And it proves just how eye-poppingly corrupt this administration was and continues to be as its "special envoy" decides the fate of tens of millions in Europe in the Middle East. Simply incredible reporting by Matthew Cole, drawn from his new book on Kushner. vanityfair.com/story/jared-k…

Everyone knows how much I love the Rocky movies. So it's a great touch for this year's player of the game award to be a pair of boxing gloves. Jase will pick the 2nd recipient after the next time the Flyers win.
Coincidentally, when I was driving to the arena yesterday, I listened to the Rocky Soundtrack Suite. Normally, I listen to a podcast (hockey or wrestling) or to classic rock.... although Toto's Africa still oddly finds me whenever I channel surf or walk into a store.
Anyway, I couldn't help but think about @jasonmyrt and some ongoing personal stuff in my private life, when "Going the Distance" was on.
Specifically, during the unforgettable part that's timed to match Apollo's knocking down Rocky in the 14th round, Mickey yelling "Down, down! Stay down!" But Rocky gets up and dominates the remainder of the fight. That's Jason.
