✍️ Gov. Evers used the partial veto to turn a two-year tax increase into one lasting more than 400 years. Question 1 would place new limits on how future governors can use that veto power over taxes and fees. Vote YES this November!

#16 is my son. Green Bay waitlisted him for 405 days for reading services because they prioritized resources by race. Real children across Wisconsin are being hurt. Vote YES on Question 3 so every kid is helped based on need, not race.
"But race discrimination is already illegal!" This is the #1 talking point against Question 3 on the ballot, the Equality Amendment. But if this is true, then why does Wisconsin keep discriminating!? Below are just a few of the race-based programs we've fought against @WILawLiberty since 2021. If "discrimination is already illegal," then why did (do) these exist? 1. Racial quotas on the police oversight board — City of Madison (2021) 2. Segregating students by race — Madison Metropolitan School District (2021) 3. Segregating students by race — Sun Prairie Area School District (2021) 4. Mental health counselors reserved for students of color — UW-Madison (2021) 5. Race-based eligibility for homeowner assistance — Evers Admin (2022) 6. Discrimination protections applied only to non-white students — Elmbrook School District (2022) 7. Teachers told to meet with African American students first — Madison Metropolitan School District (2023) 8. Pulling a Montessori charter over racial diversity — Eau Claire Area School District (2023) 9. Business program for minority-owned firms only — City of Madison (2023) 10. Freshman orientation night for students of color only — Appleton East High School (2023) 11. Race-based diversity clerkship and other Bar programs — State Bar of Wisconsin (2023) 12. DEI program on “anti-whiteness” — UW Law School (2024) 13. Race-based scholarships — UW System (2024) 14. Teacher scholarship with a racial component — Beloit School District (2024) 15. Closing a school and cutting STEM programs because too many white students benefited — Wauwatosa School District (2024) 16. Dyslexia services prioritized by race — Green Bay Area School District (2025) 17. Race-based scholarships and grants — UW-Madison (2025) 18. 5% bid preference for minority-owned suppliers — Evers Admin (2026) 19. Sports betting allowed only through tribes — Evers Admin (2026) 20. Minority-only college retention grant — Evers Admin (2026) 21. Forgivable teacher loans for minority students only — Evers Admin (2026) 22. Requirement that the Medical College of Wisconsin seek 5% minority enrollment — Evers Admin (2026) 23. Racial Quotas on technical college boards - Evers Admin

Current incentives lead schools toward leniency and sow chaos. Accountability, litigation, and transparency could help correct the incentives and ensure that schools guarantee order and safety. My latest with @MrDanielBuck in @CityJournal.

Two former senior FBI officials, Nikki Cole Floris and Bradley Benavides, were taken into custody today on charges of allegedly lying to Congress about their involvement in the FBI’s investigations into Hunter Biden. The charges stem from an ongoing investigation into the since-dissolved FBI Foreign Influence Task Force. Floris led the FITF as a Deputy Assistant Director from mid-2019 through mid-2022. Benavides was the FITF Section Chief from mid-2019 through the 2020 election. Both testified that the FITF was not involved in the Hunter Biden investigations. Documentary evidence, contemporaneous communications, and witness accounts contradict their testimony. Floris is also on record privately claiming to be “running a shadow government” during the 2020 election in her role on the FITF. Lying to Congress by senior FBI officials strikes at the heart of our system. No one is above the law. The FBI has already dismantled the corrupt CR-15 squad that engaged in political weaponization targeting their opponents, including President Trump. Thanks to @TheJusticeDept @FBIKansasCity and @USAttyPirro. -DKP🇺🇸

Are cash-strapped schools driving the increase in school referendums? WILL found districts with higher spending levels were MORE likely to ask voters for new funding. With $1.6 billion on the ballot this fall, taxpayers deserve answers on where their money is going. Full analysis below:

There’s a world of difference between user-authorized agents (Muse, Instinct, Grokbot, etc.) and true unauthorized/rogue agents that could constitute cyberattacks. Most of the activity described in the Axios story appears to be the former: customers sharing credentials with agents so they can take actions on their behalf. This may violate bank terms requiring humans to log in themselves, but these are in no way cyberattacks. The direction banks should go is to support user-directed agents. For example, Amex is an authorized connection in Muse, making it easy for users to grant, limit, and revoke access. Read-only permission levels are a sensible interim step. Several banks already support or are moving toward them. Full write access (with user credentials) is a different risk category and should be approached carefully. Frightening the public by blurring the line between user-authorized agentic behavior and cyberattacks is irresponsible.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. Read my latest for Axios here: axios.com/2026/10/22/ai-agen…

Analysis: We already know overregulation is the #1 driver of higher childcare costs, and Wisconsin families end up paying the price. WILL is backing a new federal plan to cut the Head Start program’s red tape and help providers serve more children from low-income families. More below.

🚨VICTORY against federal DEI! Hundreds of billions in taxpayer dollars have flowed through programs built on the SBA’s illegal Section 8(a) rule. The SBA’s decision to end this race-based rule strikes at the foundation of federal DEI and helps dismantle barriers facing business owners, students, and countless Americans.👇

Nearly half of new teachers leave Wisconsin or the profession within six years. Wisconsin needs to make it easier for talented people to enter the classroom and give good teachers reasons to stay. We call on France to exercise restraint when dispersing the freedom fighters on the streets of Paris. These brave warriors for justice must receive immediate humanitarian aid, and their safety must be guaranteed in accordance with international law. Failure to comply will leave us no choice but to bring a case before the ICJ, in close cooperation with that renowned champion of human rights, Afghanistan.
