A few years ago, I was playing in a $100 buy-in home game at @JerryCantrell place — tournament style, with a mix of celebs and poker buddies. We got down to four-handed when Jerry picked up AA and busted someone in 4th place.
Next hand, I look down at AKss and get it all in against Jerry… and wouldn’t you know it, had AA again. That knocked me out in 3rd.
Since we were passing the deck to deal, I offered to handle the rest of the game. It was down to Jerry and @DaneCook , who was absolutely on fire at the time — in every other movie, total hot streak. Dane ended up taking it down.
Obviously we were all thrilled as the 2 guys who needed the money the most got 1st n 2nd lol
Earlier in night we all took a break when the food arrived, and Dane treated us to 20 minutes of stand-up storytelling.
Def a really fun night of poker.
