The other half of the myth that gets slept on is that flying too close to the sea was also tragic as the sea spray would make the wings heavy.
I would rather fly too high, but agreed, both are better than not flying at all.

The act of worldbuilding as a fantasy is a gift unto itself. A world to escape into us one thing, but for others to enjoy it as well is a unique sort of joy you won't find easily elsewhere.

I FUCKING DID IT! Today I am officially a published author. ♥️ xitter.gq/Lilblack_heart/status/…
On a writing basis, the easiest way to make someone hate a character is to have them personally harm/attack/offend the most beloved character.
We hate Umbridge because we love Harry.

If you wrote a book without AI you should be so proud of yourself. So many are taking the easy way out but you persevered. 👏 good job.
I can say proudly amidst the swelling AI bubble that my book(s) were written well before AI became what it is now. All my written work is proudly AI-free and I stand against AI and its threatening of the creative arts. Let it be another reason why you should give my work a read!

I’m tired of marketing. I just want to write my books.

Writers and readers. Drop a post-2000's book that you think actually appeals to young men only. I wanna see something 👀

As someone who did, through immense effort, become socially likable, it infuriates me when notionally "autists" are like, oh, you just need to get over the initial discomfort and talk to folks, build those skills. No, you've gotta lie through your teeth or they'll skin you alive.
