Finished crafting and installing the eyebrow pergola above the door today...bringing the Black Barn project one step closer to a close. #BlackBarn #eastaurora

Still waiting on glass to finish, but finished and dry fitted the upper windows today. #BlackBarn
The Black Barn is coming along nicely. Back windows are done & in (that’s the weather side), but still making the front and side windows. Frames and sashes are complete, waiting on glass to come in to wrap those up.
So does @IKEAUSA have a Twitter support account? No acknowledgement of my previous tweet, hold times are still untenable, no updates online, still no desk and cabinet after two months... Really? #Ikea
Hello @IKEAUSA we’ve not had much luck with online or telephone support (hold times are in excess of 30 minutes), and it’s been 2 months waiting on an order. We get delivery dates, they pass, new dates, those pass too. Every day my little girl asks if her desk is here yet :(

As a quarantine project, I decided to build a little office in the corner of my basement. I just finished the walnut door. Some of the walnut on the door and shelves is from a tree we had to take down when we build the house. Nice to put it to good use. :)
I love to give my favorite books as gifts, especially when they deal with #simplicity. Just received my order of Wabi Sabi by Beth Kempton @DoWhatYouLoveXx. Listened to the audio book 3x, wanted the physical copy so ordered from Blackwell’s. Ordered 6 mores to give away!

Please be aware of a Netflix text scam that promises free Netflix for a year. The link will take you to a website asking you to add a payment method which will result in fraudulent charges. If you need free Netflix just use someone elses account like the rest of civilized society
After all of yesterday’s rains, we officially have a White Christmas morning! #Christmas2020
You can spy through the window...Amish crew is making great progress on our barn build, despite some less than ideal weather this week. First story complete, likely see second story walls up today!
Amish crew started on our barn/carriage house today. Soon all this fresh, rough cut Larch and Hemlock will be a barn!
