And now a few images of the brand new airside terminal, captured at the #Pittsburgh International Airport just before it officially opened this morning. It was amazing to be in the beautiful space while it was empty to capture these views.

This is not NYC, this street is a little over a decade old in Columbus, OH. Stop pretending we can’t build great walkable and dense neighborhoods all across the country!

my friend asked if i have any tips for how to be a great party host
(of course I do!!!)
number one tip is INTRODUCE your guests to each other (!!!)
there's four ways to do this well
> mention how they both know you
> share a life update: "X just moved here from NY"
> share a fact: "X was on jury duty this past week"
> share a common interest: "you both love jiu jitsu"
connection thrives when you have a REASON to talk to somebody. a REASON to kick of the convo and start yapping.
take a few extra minutes to do this and your party will be 100x more fun. otherwise you'll have a whole bunch of people having small talk awkwardly wishing they were anywhere else. give them something to immediately latch onto. it will set the tone for the rest of the night and they will absolutely love you for it.
ok now go have fun!!!

Meant to share this yesterday but just got caught up in all of the fun of Pitt homecoming fireworks. Yesterday was the 8th anniversary of one of my all time favorite images of #Pittsburgh, of a perfect double rainbow over the city and incline. I may never top this.

This photo captures a panoramic view of this morning's sunrise in Pittsburgh. From the ground most of the color in the sky was pretty close to the horizon so I sent my drone up a couple hundred feet to get a better view of the sky and all three sister bridges. #pittsburgh

I knew that I wanted to go back to recapture this shot of the Iron City Clock in the South Side of #Pittsburgh during the day, and yesterday was the perfect day to do so. The fall colors are starting to kick in here, finally.

This morning I headed up to Oakland to capture the Victory Lights above the Cathedral of Learning. It's been a long time since I've shot them, and with all of the rain in #Pittsburgh last night, there were a ton of unique compositions. Even caught a bus going by in this view.
