This guy was walking around the Palestine rally at Sydney Town Hall last night filming protestors. He was not there as a supporter. When I noticed him I got my phone out and started filming him back. I walked over to him, still recording, and he left. Always beware of Zionists in the crowd and protect our community.

The Home Office has banned Swedish author Andreas Malm from entering the UK, saying his presence in the country “is not considered to be conducive to the public good”. Malm – a climate academic and the author of How to Blow Up a Pipeline – was due to speak alongside a co-founder of Palestine Action at an event run by Tribune magazine about the impact of the ban on the group on free speech. He told BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme on Friday morning that he could not see any other explanation for the Home Office’s decision than his scheduled appearance on the panel. Malm said in a separate statement: “That I am prevented from going to the UK to sit on a public panel, speak to the BBC, attend an academic conference, I think it is nothing short of scandalous.” He added: “One was under the impression that the Burnham government had slightly more respect for the basic notions of freedom of expression and other democratic rights. I appeal for this decision to be overturned.” Malm is an outspoken critic of Israel’s genocide in Gaza who has been interviewed by Novara Media several times. In 2024, he told Novara Media’s Ash Sarkar that he had been finding it “incredibly difficult to emotionally engage with the climate question since… the genocide started”. Irish author Sally Rooney, whose books can no longer be sold in the UK due to the Palestine Action ban, described Malm as one of “the most brilliant and influential intellectuals working in Europe today”. Barring him from the UK is “a sad and frightening act of cultural self-harm”, she said. Tribune’s editor, Oliver Eagleton, said it was “deeply disturbing” that Malm was “seemingly being censored for speaking out about censorship”, adding that it is “now commonplace for authors and academics to be treated as terrorists because they support Palestinians facing genocide”. Malm’s case recalls that of leftwing US commentators Hasan Piker and Cenk Uygur, who were blocked from entering the UK by Keir Starmer’s Labour government in June, also on the grounds that their presence would “not be conducive to the public good”. Palestine Action became the first direct action group in British history to be proscribed as a terror organisation last summer. The Tribune event at which Malm was due to speak was timed to coincide with the start of a supreme court challenge to the ban on Wednesday.

Israel allows 2 million Palestinians with Israeli citizenship (who did not become refugees in 1948) to vote and run for office while it denies that right to 6+ million it has kept under a brutal illegal occupation for nearly 60 years. That is not democracy. It is Apartheid.
Israel’s Arab citizens, men and women, are turning out in historic numbers to vote. They can vote, run for office, and serve in the Knesset, rights denied to many Arabs and women across much of the Middle East. Our critical ally in the fight against terror, Israel, is the only democracy in the region, and today shows it.

The antisemitism envoy told the Royal Commission that Gaza’s death toll was “grossly inflated” and that the UN accepted this. The UN said otherwise. When I asked she said she “notes” the UN’s views.

Holocaust Survivor & World-Renowned Trauma Specialist Dr. Gabor Maté: ‘Benjamin Netanyahu is one of the most DISHONEST, BRUTAL, HYPOCRITICAL politicians ever to tread the surface of the earth. And that's saying a lot. But he is not by himself the cause or the source of what's going on. What's actually going on is the logical, and inevitable and foredoomed, expression of the Zionist movement… Which from the very beginning has dehumanised the Palestinians and has always arrogated to itself the right to displace and oppress and dismiss and kill as many as possible or as necessary of the Palestinian population. So Netanyahu is nothing new. He seems to be the most egregious expression of the Zionist dynamic. But that has been there all along. And, whether you look at previous terrorist Prime Ministers like Shamir or Begin, or whether you look at war criminals like Ben Gurion, who literally fomented the displacement and killing of large numbers of Palestinians, it's a logic that is becoming more and more toxic, but very consistent to itself. So the figure of Netanyahu is not that important. It's the system that matters. And if you look at the current Israeli election, none of the opposition parties even dare speak about a Palestinian state anymore. That's just off the plate. So that, you know, we talk about the slogan from the river to the sea, but that is the Zionist ethic that from the river to the sea there's no non-Jewish entity. Netanyahu didn't create that, he simply embodies it.’ —@DrGaborMate on Going Underground
Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party now claims that Arab parties STOLE the Israeli election and are demanding that the police and Shin Bet conduct an investigation. Only in an apartheid state can elections be stolen simply by one ethnic group exercising their right to vote.

Bottom line: Israeli opposition has a strong majority to topple Netanyahu, but they'd rather keep him in office, go to another election round & commit political suicide than form a gov backed by Arab parties, b/c the latter might -God forbid- require ending the Gaza genocide or slowing down West Bank ethnic cleansing & settler terrorism
