Gonna need to start keeping a running tally of how many times announcers confuse Khamenia and Mullins this season 😂
UConn Twitter. It is game day. We are back. Bring it all season long. Level up. Let’s ride. Roll ‘Skies 🐺🏀
My favorite part of Hurley being extended is that this program still hasn’t reached its ceiling. Three championship game appearances in four years, and I’d argue Hurley is still only halfway to where he wants to be from a recruiting standpoint. UConn is still ascending there.
I don’t know if Dan has enough runway left in Storrs to build the kind of self-sustaining recruiting machine Duke has, where the program’s legacy becomes more a selling point as what the coach can offer the players. I firmly believe if Dan ever gets the players he wants then he’ll be in the title game every season.
Not since John Wooden has it been this clear that one man stands above everyone else in the sport.
We’ve got lightning in a bottle and I treat it as borrowed time. This is the best it gets. As a devout Husky fan, season ticket holder, and just an overall fan of the guy, I’m absolutely over the moon he’ll be in Storrs for at least two more seasons.
