We used to have
· Records
· Books
· Cassettes
· Photos
· Home movies
· Note books
· Diaries
· Address books
· Letters and postcards
· Calendars
We kept it safe and private.
Now we hand it over to data centres.
We have no privacy
- we don't even have control.
And that's not safe

genuine fucking dogs in the replies defending ICE lol you are the reason cygames will never do an event in the united states ever again
Genuinely disturbing news - my friend Clara, who you might know as the Super Creek at Trackside, was abducted by ICE at the Rochester Airport on her way home from Uma week. Please read and share her story: facebook.com/share/18Rmm5SHK…

Bank Officer: “Sir, your loan application has been denied.”
Customer: “Denied? I’ve banked with you for nine years. My salary comes into this account every month, and I’ve never missed a loan payment.”
Bank Officer: “Your credit score doesn’t meet our current requirements.”
Customer: “But last year, you approved a $12,000 loan, and I paid it back six months early.”
Bank Officer: “Our lending criteria have changed.”
Customer: “Then explain why your colleague called me last month offering a preapproved $25,000 loan.”
The officer paused.
Bank Officer: “Those offers are based on preliminary assessments. Final approval depends on a full review.”…

Here’s 6 big ones I have:
-The large majority of the fan base fundamentally does not get Silver and is just as guilty of flanderizing him as Sega
-Silver’s future has an INSANE potential and regardless of whether he’s the main character more things should be set in it

Amy finds Sonic and doesn't recognize him, all in the same cutscene!
It's a running gag that Amy immediately mistakes every hedgehog for Sonic. This time, it really was Sonic. 😂

A think a lot of old 3D games from the fifth and sixth gen looked a lot more dazzling on a CRT, composite or component.
I was playing through Luigi’s Mansion recently and I’ve really noticed how great it looks on the CRT I inherited from my grandma. The darks are even darker!
I got it indeed, it was the second game I got for my Dreamcast after SA2. My only problem is I no longer have my CRT to play it on and I want a CRT for both my consoles (big screen for those) and my PC once again.
I’ve been playing the PC ports with Dreamcast Conversion mods on top of that that way since the late 2010s. Only recently has SA2 slowly began catching up though its DCC mods are still missing the cool pulse alarm effect.
