Dusty May shares a must-listen message on the process and staying focused when success starts coming. "Let's not look at the records. Let's not look at anything else. Let's continue to get better." "If we're focused on our processes, we're gonna look up in a couple weeks and say, 'Damn, man, I like where we are.'" Focus on the systems and habits that lead to excellence, not just the end result. That's how it works. Trust the process, stack the days, and the results show up. Then he warned them about what's coming: "We're gonna be told how great we are a lot going forward." "But just know all that stuff is distracting from what we need to do and that's get better and continue figuring some things out." Praise is a distraction if you let it be. It's going to feel good, but it's going to pull you away from the work. The best teams don't get caught up in the noise - good or bad. They block out the distractions. Focus on the process.
