That’s how I like to set up from 178. Still, I think you should avoid setups and finishes that leave you with an 8 as the last number, because most of them are pretty awkward and don’t leave you on one of the common doubles.

🧁🧁 NEW🧁🧁
The original Steve "The Muffin Man" Hine darts were one of the Loxley OG's back in our very first year and his darts have remained popular.
For 2026 we have brought them back in the Chocolate Chip flavour and have added a 22,5g version to his 23,5g match weight.

🎯 Want to improve your scoring consistency?
Try this Scoring Practice Routine and track your progress every session.
✅ 20 visits on the 20s
✅ Repeat on the 19s, 18s, and 17s
✅ Track your score and your 30-point visits
✅ Beat your personal best every time you play.
🎯 157: I prefer starting on T19. Hit it? Switch to T20, then D20. Miss it? Stay on the 19s. Less switching, more flexibility!

🎯 How do you finish 151?
T20 first or T17 first? I prefer T17 to reduce switching and keep my throw consistent.
But the best route is the one that works for YOU! 🎯
