Dom - why are you holding Hicks on - when he's going nowhere with two outs - and playing up ... regular depth, that's an out. Instead you likely lose an inning or more from Miz.
Why is Bauers playing up there and holding Hicks on - who is NOT GOING TO STEAL WITH TWO OUTS? BTW, not only Milwaukee who does this... Cleveland did too and cost them a game.
Smoltz usually annoys me, but he makes the smart point. It's not about strikeouts which sometimes take a lot of pitches. Brewers could use these 10 pitch innings and let them hit to contact as long as they're at people.
