CAOPAN wasn't promising that the kingdom was already great.
He was building it one person at a time.
That was different from every kingdom he encountered
So he's started walking toward the Caopan.
Not because he believed in the panda.
Not yet.
He simply wanted to see for himself.
At first, Menghu thought it was a joke.
A panda claiming to be the reincarnation of Cao Cao.
A tiny kingdom.
A hut.
A few holders.
And a king with an absolutely unreasonable amount of confidence.
Yet something about the story bothered him.
A place where loyalty meant something.
A place where nobody had to stand alone.
But Menghu had almost given up.
Until one day.
he heard about a strange new kingdom.
A kingdom founded by a panda.
What Menghu Wants?
After years of wandering, Menghu finally understood what he had been searching for.
He wasn't looking for a powerful king.
He wasn't looking for treasure.
He wasn't looking for a throne.
He wanted to find people who would build something together.
A broken sign?
He would fix it.
A missing supply?
He would investigate it.
A kingdom with three holders?
He would somehow treat it like a national security issue.
Despite his intimidating appearance, Menghu was not cruel.
He was patient.
Protective.
And deeply loyal to those who earned his trust.
His greatest weakness was also his greatest strength:
he took everything too seriously.
He rarely spoke.
He watched more than he talked.
He didn't trust promises easily.
He believed that a person's character was revealed not by what they said when everything was going well but by what they did when everything went wrong.
He saw kingdoms built on wealth.
He saw kingdoms built on power.
He saw kingdoms filled with people who followed their king only because they were afraid not to.
Menghu always left.
Because none of them felt like home.
