Just when you thought you were safe from my shameless plugs, happy to announce I'll have another book coming out in mid-June. Think you'll really enjoy this one. Pre-order here!: reedypress.com/shop/uconn-ba…

“I believe in the group. You see your team from the summer to this point, it looks like a team that could contend. I think that's all you're hoping to see at this point." ctinsider.com/sports/uconn-m…

An impressive exhibition finale for UConn men. They're ready. ctinsider.com/sports/uconn-m…

Final: UConn 76, Purdue 53. Huskies impressive again. I count 8 different players who could lead team in scoring in different games this season. Maybe 9?

47-28 UConn. Painter calls TO. Huskies length, athleticism smothering Boilermakers. Seen that movie before.

Na'jai Hines' passing skills continue to impress. His one-handed putback dunk impressed, as well.

Braylon Mullins, on a "minutes restriction," has played as many minutes as any other Husky so far.

Not the Trop, but not a sellout.

UConn leads at the half, 35-20, despite 2-for-9 shooting from 3. Huskies' defense has been quite impressive. Jayden Ross a perfect 3-for-3 from floor, 3-for-3 from line for 11 points.

Purdue's first points in nearly 5 minutes of play. 19-9 UConn

Colben Landrew doing Colben Landrew things again.

6-5 UConn at U16. Pair of Jayden Ross 3'd account for scoring. Huskies have missed their other five shots.

Tough start for Hines. Mishandled lob dunk pass from Demary, gave up inside hoop to Jacobsen, had hook stuffed by Jacobsen.

Big memories

Purdue counters with Rick Mount, Joe Barry Carroll, Glenn "Big Dog" Robinson, Zach Edey and Trey Kaufman-Renn.

Braylon Mullins returns and in UConn starting lineup. Mullins, Demary, Khamenia, Jay. Ross, Hines.

My fav Purdue photo.
