Well-earned. Dylan Hyrckowian has been exactly as advertised, and Matthew Seminoff's development has been nothing short of a revelation.

My 2 questions for #NJDevils GM Sunny Mehta at his press conference today and his well thought out answers.
Called him out for bluffing. Got him talking about Bayesian hierarchical models. And allegedly stole @mikemorrealeNHL’s question 😂

A busy Friday with hockey news including a new home for Connor Hellebuyck. Stick tap to David for a great conversation. #TexasHockey
Fun impromptu podcast with Gavin Spittle talking about a little bit of everything: Dallas Stars EV scoring problems, a lot of things they're doing that aren't problems, and a breakdown of the Connor Hellebuyck trade to New Jersey. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcas…

Dallas Stars October prospect report. Ryan Brown leads the way in more ways than one.

I don't get the Mehta/Goaltending stuff. Trading for Connor Hellebuyck doesn't contradict his comments or his philosophy. The cost was functionally nothing but cap. I like Mercer, so I think it's a decent-ish trade for both teams. One side optimized better (NJD), but still.

Postgame recap of a hard-fought victory by Dallas over Winnipeg that was earned as much through fortune as by misfortune.

Not sure how Tkachuk doesn't get called for that elbow to Greig's head. Just kidding. I know exactly how.

I realize I've been R2H2-brained, but now seems like a good time to experiment with unconventional line combos. Feels like Hyry has earned some higher quality looks. Certainly would have liked to have seen him out there on the second PP unit over Hyrckowian.
