Survivors of domestic violence need Safety, Healing, and Hope from our local Community.
Yesterday, more than 750 people gathered for the Heights annual luncheon. I’m proud to support Executive Director Jennifer Salzman and her team, who help survivors escape abuse and Rebuild their Lives.
Grateful as well to hear from Keynote Speaker Catherine H. Johnson, President and CEO of @weareafhi, whose work supports Family Justice Centers nationwide.

Today, TCEQ dismissed with prejudice J7 Ready Mix's concrete batch plant application in Burleson. This is a historic moment, as this is now the SECOND concrete batch we have successfully defeated in House District 96.
I want to thank the community members of STOP the J7 Ready Mix Plant group, Green Air Solutions Texas, Brandon McElroy, and Adam Friedman for standing with me in this long fight for over 3 years. I will always stand in the gap for my constituents and fight for the best interests of our Community. #txlege
