It's disappointing that the director of the EPA is implying discussion surrounding contrails require more "honesty and transparency." This stokes conspiracy theories. Contrails are contrails. The conversation doesn't have to go much further than that.

Americans have questions about geoengineering and contrails. They expect honesty and transparency from their government when seeking answers. For years, people who asked questions in good faith were dismissed, even vilified by the media and their own government. This ends today.

The latest version of the Senate's BBB is a death sentence for US energy leadership and a giant gift to China. It eliminates tax cuts for solar that have been around since 2005, adds a new tax on solar after 2027, and creates a new direct subsidy for coal.
