Penguin Colony, Mouthwashing, I Am Your Beast, and now Virtue and a Sledgehammer. Whoever is getting to make these kinds of games, I fucking love you so goddamn much. There is literally nothing that can compare to the artistry and innovative storytelling on display.

Penguin Colony is a work of cosmic horror that I would recommend to anyone with even a passing interest in scares from the beyond, even though its unique penguin platforming can be frustrating to wrangle.

For the end of PENGUIN COLONY I wrote a piece called 'Ātete' with the amazing songwriter KOMMI who wrote the lyrics for an original Māori waiata fully in Te Reo Māori. Check it out!! 🎶🎵🎶🎵

finished PENGUIN COLONY and found it to be one of the most fascinating and provoking games of the year, if not the past few years. clunky traversal mechanics aside there is a passion of a narrative for indigenous resistance interfaced with cosmic horror, don't miss out on it!
