Since the genocide began, Eman and her family, including her parents and three siblings, have been displaced around 10 times and now live in a tent on rented land, which costs $200 a month and is not suitable for the coming winter. They cannot return to their home because the area is in a designated red zone. The family relies mainly on donations and occasional aid packages, while food from community kitchens and access to clean water are inconsistent, often leaving them to buy drinking water themselves. Eman's biggest priority is being able to afford the medication she and her sister need, including Ferriprox, which costs approximately $100 per month for her treatment alone. She also needs help covering hospital transportation and blood transfusions, as reaching medical facilities and finding essential medicines have become increasingly difficult. The family is hoping to raise around $600 to repair their tent with metal rods or wood and tarpaulin before the winter rains. Eman is asking for support to continue her treatment, cover basic living expenses, and keep a safe place for her family to stay.
