@DanielTeal built a tool Texans: Election Explorer 1.3 now reads cast vote records from two systems certified in Texas — ES&S & Hart including scanned, image-only PDF reports. Filter ballots by polling place, voting type, and scanning device. Compare voter registration lists. Free on the Microsoft Store, link in Dan's post below. Every Texan can request these from their county under the Public Information Act: • Cast vote record (CVR) export • Ballot registers for early voting and Election Day polling places • Precinct-level results reports • Tabulator results tapes • Election judge hotline / tech-support incident logs here's what people have found by loading these records: • Ballot registers that don't match the number of ballots the tabulator reported • CVR ballot counts that don't match the tapes or the precinct reports • Ballots in the CVR with no polling place or device attached • Votes attributed to a scanner on a day it wasn't deployed • Results tapes with timestamps before polls closed • Hotline logs showing machines rebooted, swapped, or reprogrammed mid-day with no note in the results None of that tells you who really won.
