The one huge problem with “cloud” is that it will result in an entire generation never knowing the pain of slicing your finger to shreds with a 42U rack cage pin. I believed, and still believe, this kind of injury is a right of passage.

There's a reason I've always worked on my own vehicles. This is the dealer quote for our 2013 @Ford Transit Connect. Due to time, I had them replace the valve cover gaskets. They refused to budge on this price even though the plug boots need to come off during the gasket job. 🧵
The four plugs are fully accessible from the top of the motor. The $320 job would consist of removing and reinstalling 4 plugs. 15min work tops with VC removed. They quoted me $19 per plug. Same motorcraft plug for $6.99/ea plus 30 min of my time.

I know it's hard to do something that will last 20+ years, and maybe design choices from the 90's weren't the best ideas...
There are foundational issues that need to be addressed. A clean install of windows ruined by its foundation.
